  • Patent number: 7497143
Abstract: First and second guide members 53 and 54 are fixed to a reinforcing member 9, while a pedal bracket 17 is provided with first and second abutment parts 41 and 42 for guiding the pedal bracket 17. When the pedal bracket 17 is moved backward due to automobile collision, the first abutment part 41 abuts against and slides along the first guide member 53, and then the second abutment part 42 abuts against and slides along the second guide member 54 after the first abutment part 41 has finished sliding along the first guide member 53. Thus, the position of the pedal bracket 17 is changed using both the guide members 53 and 54.

  • Patent number: 7275614
Abstract: According to a pedal support structure, the slide comprises two slide portions constituted of the first and second contact points and the first and second guide faces. Further, these contact portions and these guide faces are respectively located longitudinally separately from each other, and are located so as to be offset from each other in the vehicle width direction, whereby the first and second contact portions and the first and second guide faces can be located substantially horizontally. Accordingly, there can be provided the pedal support structure which can improve flexibility of a layout of the guide face to guide a position change of a pedal bracket and to make the structure compact.

  • Patent number: 7261998
Abstract: The present invention provides an imageable element including a lithographic substrate and an imageable layer disposed on the substrate. The imageable layer includes a radically polymerizable component, an initiator system capable of generating radicals sufficient to initiate a polymerization reaction upon exposure to imaging radiation, and a polymeric binder having a hydrophobic backbone and including both constitutional units having a pendant cyano group attached directly to the hydrophobic backbone, and constitutional units having a pendant group including a hydrophilic poly(alkylene oxide) segment. When the imageable element is imaged and developed, the resulting printing plate may exhibit improved on-press solvent resistance and longer press life.

  • Patent number: 6606368
Abstract: In a nuclear power plant, by injecting an amount of hydrogen small enough not to increase a radiation dose rate of the main steam system, ECP of metallic component materials composing a nuclear reactor can be decreased to suppress the potential of occurrence of IGSCC, and the control can be easily performed, and the operating cost can be suppressed to increase. Occurrence of intergranular stress corrosion cracking in metallic component materials in contact with reactor cooling water is suppressed by injecting zirconium hydroxide and hydrogen into the reactor cooling water to decrease the electrochemical corrosion potential of the metallic component materials.
