  • Publication number: 20100308988
Abstract: A turn signal illumination controller monitors the lateral movement distance of a vehicle from when a turn switch lever is operated so as to illuminate a turn signal indicator. When the lateral movement distance is greater than or equal to a threshold value indicating completion of lane changing, the turn signal illumination controller cancels the turn signal indicator.

  • Publication number: 20100219051
Abstract: A turn signal device for a vehicle for activating a turn signal in accordance with operation of an operation lever. The turn signal device includes a turning state detection unit, which detects a turning state of the vehicle. The turning state detection unit monitors a temporal change in the turning state of the vehicle after the turn signal is activated. The turning state detection unit deactivates the turning signal when detecting that the vehicle first turns in an activation direction of the turn signal, then turns in a direction opposite to the activation direction, and afterward turns again in the activation direction.

  • Patent number: 7765087
Abstract: A system performance profiling device is provided inside a system-on-chip (SoC). Selectors respectively select values of predetermined bit positions of counters and output the selected values to the outside of the system-on-chip, during a period of acquisition of profiling data. When the acquisition of the profiling data ends, the selectors respectively select values of all lower bit positions of the counters than the predetermined bit positions, and output the selected values to the outside of the system-on-chip.

  • Patent number: 7633816
Abstract: A comparing unit (12) in a readout control unit (11) compares one bit data stored in a memory body (20) with a value stored in a data storage unit B[m] which is prepared to store the one bit data. The data storage unit B[m] includes three memory cells MC[k] and the stored value of the data storage unit B[m] is obtained by a logical operation unit (16) operable to calculate an exclusive OR with respect to the three memory cells MC[k]. When mismatching is detected in the comparing unit (12), a rewrite cell determination unit (13) determines one of the three memory cells MC[k], to which rewriting of the stored value is performed. In the case where the stored value in the data storage unit B[m], if the data storage unit B[m] has a memory cell MC[k] to which writing can be performed, the writing is performed in priority to erasing.

  • Publication number: 20090254310
Abstract: A system performance profiling device that is provided inside a SoC and has no restriction in measurement period without an increase in counter resource is provided. Selectors 20a, 20b, and 20c respectively select values of predetermined bit positions of counters 19a, 19b, and 19c and output the selected values to the outside, during a period of acquisition of profiling data. When the acquisition of the profiling data ends, the selectors 20a, 20b, and 20c respectively select values of all lower bit positions of the counters 19a, 19b, and 19c than the predetermined bit positions, and output the selected values to the outside.

  • Patent number: 7477977
Abstract: A power window device for use in a vehicle for raising and lowering each window glass. The power window device includes a drive unit for each door operable for raising and lowering the associated window glass. Each drive unit includes an EEPROM for retaining mounting position information of the position in the vehicle at which the window glass driven by the associated drive unit is located. A processor in each drive unit retrieves steering wheel position information of whether the steering wheel is located in the right or left side of the vehicle. The processor recognizes the position in the vehicle at which the associated drive unit is installed based on the mounting position information and the steering wheel information. This enables the drive unit to be used for both right hand and left hand drive vehicles.

  • Patent number: 7276872
Abstract: A power window device for lowering and raising window glasses. A window switch is operated to move a corresponding window glass. A motor drives the window glass when the window switch is operated. An ECU is provided for each window glass to control the motor in accordance with the operation of the window switch. An engine switch shifts positions to drive an engine. A control signal generator generates a signal to validate or invalidate control of the ECU over the motor. A control circuit determines that a signal wire connecting the ECUs to the control signal generator is in an unexpected condition when a signal cannot be received. The control circuit overrides the signals generated by the control signal generator when the signal wire is in an unexpected condition.

  • Patent number: 6690131
Abstract: A power window switch circuit, even if soaked, prevents windows from opening or closing unintentionally. A DOWN switch (128) and an UP switch (129) each include a first fixed contact (DN1, UP1) connected with a power supply, a second fixed contact (DN2, UP2) grounded, and movable contacts (131, 132, 133, 134) for selectively connects either the first or second fixed contact with the first terminal of corresponding relay coils (21, 23). A transistor (TR4) responsive to a soak signal is connected between the ground and the second fixed contacts (DN2, UP2) of the UP and DOWN switches. The second terminals of the first and second relay coils are grounded through their respective transistors. When a soak is detected, a soak detector (15) supplies a soak signal to the transistors.

  • Publication number: 20030037091
Abstract: A task scheduling device specifies tasks to be executed one at a time. The device performs priority level scheduling in task group units on a round-robin basis, and selects one of the task groups. Then, on a round-robin basis using a timeslice period set for each of the tasks, the device performs priority level scheduling on all the tasks included in the selected task group, and specifies one of the tasks as the execution target. If the timeslice period of a task being executed has yet to elapse when another task group is selected, then next time the task is specified as the execution target, the device executes the task for the remainder of the timeslice period rather than the full timeslice period. In this way, the task scheduling device is able to effectively allocate and control the time period distributed for the execution of each of the tasks.

  • Patent number: 5869390
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of forming electrodes on diamond comprising the steps of: forming a mask pattern on diamond or diamond film; performing a treatment of the diamond surface by a plasma of inert gases; forming an electrode film on the whole surface of the specimen; and removing the mask, thereby forming a specified pattern of the electrodes. By this method, it is possible to form electrodes having high adhesion to diamond and diamond film for electronic devices.

  • Patent number: 5814149
Abstract: A method is related to grow monocrystalline diamond films by chemical vapor deposition on large area at low cost. The substrate materials are either bulk single crystals of Pt or its alloys, or thin films of those materials deposited on suitable supporting materials. The surfaces of those substrates must be either (111) or (001), or must have domain structures consisting of (111) or (001) crystal surfaces. Those surfaces can be inclined within .+-.10 degree angles from (111) or (001). In order to increase the nucleation density of diamond, the substrate surface can be scratched by buff and/or ultrasonic polishing, or carbon implanted. Monocrystalline diamond films can be grown even though the substrate surfaces have been roughened. Plasma cleaning of substrate surfaces and annealing of Pt or its alloy films are effective in growing high quality monocrystalline diamond films.
