  • Publication number: 20240426623
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure relate to a vehicle camera system for view creation of terrain view locations. A vehicle includes a first camera and a second camera and includes a processor configured to receive a route request to provide a route projection for the vehicle. The processor receives first data from the first camera and second data from the second camera. The processor combines the first data having a first field of view with the second data having a second field of view to create a stitched image representing a scene in a combined field of view. The processor provides overlay information mapped to pixel coordinates of the stitched image and provides, for display, a terrain view that includes the stitched image and the overlay information. The terrain view may be displayed in one of multiple selectable views based on a driving mode of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240428564
Abstract: In implementations of systems for generating images for human reposing, a computing device implements a reposing system to receive input data describing an input digital image depicting a person in a first pose, a first plurality of keypoints representing the first pose, and a second plurality of keypoints representing a second pose. The reposing system generates a mapping by processing the input data using a first machine learning model. The mapping indicates a plurality of first portions of the person in the second pose that are visible in the input digital image and a plurality of second portions of the person in the second pose that are invisible in the input digital image. The reposing system generates an output digital image depicting the person in the second pose by processing the mapping, the first plurality of keypoints, and the second plurality of keypoints using a second machine learning model.

  • Publication number: 20240403709
Abstract: State of the art model fairness approaches do not address the degree of local fairness of a ML model. A method and system for determining local fairness of a classification Machine Learning (ML) model with degree of fairness is disclosed. The method creates multiple perturb instances using multilevel GMM clustering approach and a constrained perturbation technique to ensure feature distribution of perturbed data, generated from a tabular base data is within the feature distribution of the tabular base data of the ML model. Further, the class of a protected attribute is flipped, black box model prediction probabilities and the cosine similarity constraint and multiplication factor on the probabilities is used to provide a degree of fairness for the local instance. Thus, provides magnitude of fairness or unfairness to the local instance.

  • Patent number: 12159413
Abstract: In implementations of systems for image inversion using multiple latent spaces, a computing device implements an inversion system to generate a segment map that segments an input digital image into a first image region and a second image region and assigns the first image region to a first latent space and the second image region to a second latent space that corresponds to a layer of a convolutional neural network. An inverted latent representation of the input digital image is computed using a binary mask for the second image region. The inversion system modifies the inverted latent representation of the input digital image using an edit direction vector that corresponds to a visual feature. An output digital image is generated that depicts a reconstruction of the input digital image having the visual feature based on the modified inverted latent representation of the input digital image.

  • Publication number: 20240386471
Abstract: A concierge system sends batches of orders to pickers that they can review and accept in a batch list on a client device. Each batch in the batch list is presented with a hide option that enables the picker to hide a batch that they do not intend to accept. In response to receiving a hide signal, the system extracts features associated with the batch and stores those features with a negative indication of the picker towards the batch. The hide signal provides the system with a higher quality signal indicating the picker's negative intent regarding an order, as compared to simply ignoring the order in favor of fulfilling another order. This higher quality signal is then used to train models to better predict events related to the pickers' acceptance of orders, such as for ranking orders for pickers or for predicting fulfillment times.

  • Publication number: 20240383210
Abstract: A method of operating a three-dimensional (3D) metal object manufacturing apparatus selects operational parameters for operation of the printer to form conductive metal traces on substrates with dimensions within appropriate tolerances and with sufficient conductive material to carry electrical currents without burning up or becoming too hot. The method identifies the material of the substrate and the bulk metal being melted for ejection and uses this identification data to select the operational parameters. Thus, the method can form conductive traces and circuits on a wide range of substrate materials including polymeric substrates, semiconductor materials, oxide layers on semiconductor materials, glass, and other crystalline materials.

  • Publication number: 20240371874
Abstract: A nanostructure according to the present disclosure comprises a pair of nanosheet or nanowire transistors configured to conduct charge by carriers of opposite polarity (such as n and p type carriers), wherein one of the pair of transistors is provided with inner spacers and the other is not provided with inner spacers. Depending on the type of charge carrier, the omission of the inner spacers may improve the admittance of the device. This is demonstrated in an example embodiment comprising a Si-channel PMOS nanosheet transistor. Conversely, in a Si-channel NMOS nanosheet transistor, the omission of the inner spacers has a negative effect on the parasitic capacitance that outweighs some of the benefits of the inner spacer omission. An example embodiment of the present disclosure includes complementary NMOS and PMOS silicon transistors, wherein the NMOS is provided with inner spacers and the PMOS is not provided with inner spacers.

  • Patent number: 12124586
Abstract: Examples of managed device risk assessment are described. In one example, a copy of an application installed on a client device is decompiled, to identify operations performed during execution of the application. A profile including one or more rules that specify whether the operations are assigned higher or lower levels of risk is obtained. A first number of times that the first rule is violated by the operations is determined, and a second number of times that the second rule is violated by the operations is determined. A total of the violations is compared against a threshold, and a remedial action is initiated in response to determining that the total exceeds the threshold.
