  • Publication number: 20240129187
Abstract: One or more network metrics associated with one or more network devices of a network environment can be improved by analyzing these network metrics at a network resource. The network resource can compare the one or more network metrics collected over a period time to a corresponding threshold. Based on a comparison of the one or more network metrics, for example, an average of the one or more network metrics, to one or more corresponding thresholds, the network resource can determine one or more network configurations that can be sent to a user, a client device or both. The one or more network configurations can provide one or more recommendations for improving the network performance, for example, the one or more network metrics, such as by adding, removing, replacing or otherwise changing one or more existing network devices.

  • Patent number: 11954129
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and a method for updating data models. Input data received from a data source and/or prediction data obtained from a data model is reduced based on baseline reference data to obtain a plurality of representative points. The plurality of representative points are clustered to generate a plurality of clusters. An outlier cluster is detected from the plurality of clusters based on a maximum distance of the plurality of clusters from a highest density cluster and/or comparison of quantity and values of the plurality of representative points with predefined rules. Data drift is identified based on changes in densities of the plurality of clusters. The data model is updated using information corresponding to the outlier cluster and the data drift.

  • Publication number: 20240114447
Abstract: Configuration of a main access point device (APD) requires an amount of time that can cause a user to incorrectly assume that that issues have arisen during configuration. The amount of time can be due in part to the APD determining a backhaul connection for use with an EAPD, for example, a satellite APD. The APD can determine an initial backhaul connection for use during the configuration. This initial backhaul connection can be based, for example, on one or more default configuration parameters. The APD can proceed with configuration using the initial backhaul connection. The APD can send a configuration notification to a client device associated with the user that informs the user, for example, that the configuration is completed and that a backhaul optimization is being performed. In this way, the user is informed of the status of the configuration such that costs and resources can be conserved.

  • Publication number: 20240114368
Abstract: As part of telemetry monitoring and collecting, a network resource averages one or more telemetry metrics associated with a network device for each network issue, such as received signal strength indicators (RSSI), channel utilizations, both associated with an installation issue, a usage issue, or both, respectively. The average is compared to a corresponding threshold and based on that comparison one or more configuration notifications are determined. The one or more configuration notifications are sent to a client device associated with a user so as to notify, inform or otherwise instruct the user as to remediating the network issue. The network resource can continuously, periodically, at timed intervals, on-demand, or otherwise monitor and collect the one or more telemetry metrics after an indication that an attempt has been made to remediate the network issue.

  • Patent number: 11949943
Abstract: This disclosure provides a system by which content/service providers can enable gaze-responsive advertisement/targeted content mechanisms for CPE devices like STB's/OTT streaming devices or systems or display devices. The system creates a new opportunity for content/service providers to advertise and helps in generating revenue. The system leverages using gaze-based technology in CPE devices like STB's or large display devices. A gaze-based algorithm helps the CPE devices to locate the viewer point of attention, using which gaze-responsive advertisement/content targeting can be achieved. The disclosure provides an end to end solution—from content creation to content consumption for gaze-responsive advertisement/media delivery.

  • Publication number: 20240094779
Abstract: A semiconductor component package includes circuitry that can be used both for mitigating radio-frequency interference of signals in the package and for performing self-test procedures of components in the package. The circuitry includes chokes between the I/O pads of the package and a sensor module in the package to attenuate high-frequency RF interference in the package and protect sensors in the package. Each I/O pad may have a corresponding choke. During a self-test procedure, such as a test of a sensor's temperature coefficient of offset, the chokes can be decoupled from the I/O pads and the sensor module and coupled between a current source and a ground. A current can be supplied to the choke to raise the temperature of the package. The chokes may use high-resistance windings to increase heat generation during the self-test procedure.

  • Publication number: 20230415741
Abstract: This document describes techniques and systems for target of interest selection on roadway ramps. When a host vehicle transitions from a roadway to a ramp, a quantity of lanes of the ramp is determined from a map stored in a driving system of the host vehicle. If there are multiple lanes, then a standard driving scheme may be employed. This standard driving scheme may prioritize a target directly in front of the host vehicle to be a target of interest. However, if the ramp has a single lane, a first target leading the host vehicle, but not necessarily directly in front of the host vehicle is determined to be the target of interest. Driving systems, such as adaptive cruise control, may base driving decisions on the target of interest. By determining the target of interest in this manner, uncertainty due to predictions and complexity of calculations may be reduced.
