    Abstract: A luggage security system for preventing luggage items from being stolen or lost during travel. The luggage security system includes an elongate member having a flexible structure, a first connector attached to a first end of the elongate member, a lock device for securing the first connector to a first loop member on a piece of luggage, a second connector attached to a second end of the elongate member, a handle member attached to the second connector, and a clasp attached to the second end of the elongate member for selectively securing to a second loop member on the luggage.
