This previously stored copy of soon-to-be-requested data may be stored in anticipation of receiving the request from the CIMOM for the data, and may be quickly returned to the CIMOM upon receiving the request for it. A CIM profile provider may generate this pre-stored data for a device in order to respond to the request, and a CIM caching provider may receive the data, store the data, receive the request for the data, and provide the data in response to the request, according to one embodiment.
