    Abstract: A method for pipelining instructions on a PAC processor includes determining a minimum initial interval, and grouping the instructions so that the operands of dependent instructions are assigned to the same local register file. The virtual registers of the instructions that have data dependency across the first functional unit and the second functional unit are assigned to a global register file. The instructions are then modulo scheduled based on a current value of initial interval. The virtual registers of the scheduled instructions are allocated to the corresponding register files. If the allocation fails, a set of virtual registers is transferred from the first or second register file to the global register file.

    Abstract: A stereo-image displaying apparatus including an adjustable light source module, a spatial modulator, and an image display panel is provided. The adjustable light source module is adapted for emitting a plurality of first illumination beams and a plurality of second illumination beams that are staggered along a first axis. The first illumination beam passes through the spatial modulator so that the image display panel displays a first view field image in a first frame period. The driving mechanism is used to drive the beam splitter in one direction, and the beam splitter will scan a plurality of parallel scan lines by the direction on a surface.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a multi-thread power gating control design, setting idle components into a sleep mode to reduce power consumption due to current leakage. Based on compiler techniques, the invention arranges predicted-power-gating instructions into every thread of a may-happen-in-parallel region. A predicted-power-on instruction determines whether the corresponding component has been powered on, and powers on the component when it has not been powered on yet. A predicted-power-off instruction determines whether the component is required in the rest of the may-happen-in-parallel region, and powers off the component when it is required later.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a substrate damage detection mechanism using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag including a substrate, at least one RFID tag with a RFID chip, a RFID transmitter and at least one data input/output port and at least one conducting circuit loop arranged to cover the substrate and provided with a first end that is electrically connected to a reference voltage and a second end that is electrically connected to the data input/output port of the RFID tag. The RFID chip generates a conductive code when the conducting circuit loop is originally conducting and generates a open-circuit code when the conducting circuit loop becomes open circuit resulting from the damage of the substrate in which both the conductive code and the open-circuit code are transmitted by the RFID transmitter and received by a RFID reader to determine the damage of the substrate.
