Patent number: 12260430Abstract: A method that includes receiving information indicative of a location of a vehicle. The vehicle has an occupied-vehicle state that includes an occupant state. This occupant state represents the state of one or more occupants within the vehicle. The method further includes receiving information indicative of this occupant state. The information indicative of the occupant state results from an observation by a detector that is in communication with an infotainment system within the vehicle. The method continues with using both the information indicative of the occupant state and the information indicative of the location to select an advertisement from a database of advertisements. This selected advertisement is one that is ultimately for presentation to the occupant.Type: GrantFiled: February 15, 2023Date of Patent: March 25, 2025Assignee: Cerence Operating CompanyInventors: Kuldeep Singh, Reimund Schmald, Johan Wouters

Publication number: 20240321447Abstract: A computation system and method for early detection of sepsis and infection in patients uses personalized detection models. The system stores patient health data for many patients, including symptoms, vital signs and disease conditions obtained from medical records and wearable/personal sensors. Multiple sepsis prediction models are then trained based on identifying cohorts of similar patients using a similarity measure or score. Each model is trained using a different cohort or similarity measure. A patient is then monitored, and the model trained on the most similar set of patients is selected to monitor the patient and identify sepsis. Further as the patient's symptoms or vital signs change, the choice of the most similar patients, and associated model, is reassessed and the most appropriate model based on the patient's current state is selected. This ensures that as the patient's symptoms change the best model is used to assess likelihood of sepsis to ensure rapid and appropriate intervention.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 7, 2021Publication date: September 26, 2024Inventors: Nandakumar Selvaraj, Michael Joseph Pettinati, Milan Shah, Kuldeep Singh Rajput

Publication number: 20240152123Abstract: Existing systems for fault detection and classification have the disadvantage that they have limited or no capability for fault localization and root cause identification, probably due to the challenges associated with modeling the nonlinear interactions among process variables and capturing the nonstationary behavior that is typical of most industrial processes. The disclosure herein generally relates to industrial manufacturing systems, and, more particularly, to method and system for localization of faults in an industrial manufacturing plant. The system uses a perturbation based approach for fault localization, in which the system determines variables having dominant effect on identified faults, in terms of a perturbation score calculated for each of the variables.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 29, 2023Publication date: May 9, 2024Applicant: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: KALYANI BHARAT ZOPE, KULDEEP SINGH, SRI HARSHA NISTALA, VENKATARAMANA RUNKANA, TANMAYA SINGHAL

Publication number: 20230299871Abstract: Technology for operating an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) communication system is disclosed herein that allows an UAV communication system to transition between modulation modes. In various implementations, a wireless radio of the UAV communication system operates in a dynamic modulation mode such that the wireless radio dynamically adjusts the modulation rate of a signal within a range of possible modulation rates. The wireless radio transitions to a fixed modulation mode, based at least on a current modulation rate of the signal reaching a low end of the range of possible modulation rates. When in the fixed modulation mode, the wireless radio holds the modulation rate at the low end of the range of possible modulation rates. The wireless radio returns to the dynamic modulation mode based on the quality of the signal.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 21, 2023Publication date: September 21, 2023Applicant: Skydio, Inc.Inventors: Eyal Hochdorf, Kuldeep Singh Gill

Publication number: 20230281524Abstract: Gas turbines are one of leading sources for power generation with lower greenhouse gas emissions. However, due to environmental concerns, gas turbines are moving towards adopting greener fuels. The shift towards greener fuels comes with own set of challenges as performance of gas turbine at different operating points needs to be accurately predicted as experiments are very costly to perform. Existing arts perform their analysis at operating line and performance estimation at other operating points is not specified. Present application provides systems and methods for estimating performance of gas turbine accurately in wide operating region. The system first accurately estimates outlet conditions for each stage of compressor. The system then utilizes estimated outlet conditions to determine outlet conditions associated with other component of gas turbine.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 27, 2022Publication date: September 7, 2023Applicant: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: ABHISHEK BONDALAPATI, KULDEEP SINGH, SRI HARSHA NISTALA, VENKATARAMANA RUNKANA
