  • Patent number: 11249876
Abstract: A system and method for estimating execution time of an application with Spark™ platform in a production environment. The application on Spark™ platform is executed as a sequence of Spark jobs. Each Spark job is executed as a directed acyclic graph (DAG) consisting of stages. Each stage has multiple executors running in parallel and the each executor has set of concurrent tasks. Each executor spawns multiple threads, one for each task. All jobs in the same executor share the same JVM memory. The execution time for each Spark job is predicted as summation of the estimated execution time of all its stages. The execution time constitutes scheduler delay, serialization time, de-serialization time, and JVM overheads. The JVM time estimation depends on type of computation hardware system and number of threads.

  • Publication number: 20220044223
Abstract: A method for facilitating payment transactions includes receiving, by a server, a flash code request indicative of a transaction amount. A flash code associated with the transaction amount is communicated by the server to the payer device. The flash code is encoded into a flash pattern at the payer device and communicated to a payee device of a payee for executing a payment transaction between the payer and the payee. A first request for the payment transaction is received by the server from the payee device. The first request includes the flash code obtained by decoding the flash pattern at the payee device. The flash code included in the first request is validated by the server. Based on successful validation of the flash code, the transaction amount is deducted from a payer account of the payer and credited to a payee account of the payee.

  • Patent number: 11245727
Abstract: A method provides a network-agnostic identity broker for retrieving identity records across heterogeneous identity networks. An identity broker receives a client request from a client to retrieve and evaluate user identity information for confirming an identity of a particular entity. The identity broker utilizes a group membership of the client to select a set of policies for handling the client request, and selects an identity network from multiple heterogeneous identity networks as a selected identity network to which the client request is to be sent. The identity broker sends the client request to the selected identity network, and then receives a response from the selected identity network. The identity broker evaluates the response according to the set of policies, such that the evaluated response conforms with the set of policies, and transmits the evaluated response to the client.
