  • Patent number: 11361303
Abstract: A method for facilitating payment transactions includes receiving, by a server, a flash code request indicative of a transaction amount. A flash code associated with the transaction amount is communicated by the server to the payer device. The flash code is encoded into a flash pattern at the payer device and communicated to a payee device of a payee for executing a payment transaction between the payer and the payee. A first request for the payment transaction is received by the server from the payee device. The first request includes the flash code obtained by decoding the flash pattern at the payee device. The flash code included in the first request is validated by the server. • Patent number: 11363311
Abstract: Live video streams are produced using a network server system. The network server system initially receives, via a network, one or more captured video streams that are live streams captured from a remotely-located camera, phone or the like. The captured streams are forwarded to a control device via the network to thereby permit a user of the control device to select one of the captured video streams for output to the video production stream. In response to a command received from the control device that indicates the selected capture stream, the selected capture video streams is encoded for output as the video production stream.

  • Publication number: 20220179757
Abstract: Illustrative embodiments represent a dynamic on-demand approach to configuring destination storage for bare metal restore (BMR) operations without operator intervention, including destination storage that is smaller than source storage devices. The illustrative operations rely on system state information collected concurrently with or shortly after source data is backed up, thereby capturing current actual storage metrics for the source data. The illustrative embodiments further rely on enhanced data agent components to collect and restore system state information as well as to restore backup data, thereby streamlining the configurations needed for the BMR operation to proceed. Additional business logic matches source mount points with suitable smaller destination storage resources and ensures that the BMR operation successfully completes with diverse and/or smaller storage destinations.

  • Publication number: 20220164546
Abstract: Machine learning (ML) systems and methods for fact extraction and claim verification are provided. The system receives a claim and retrieves a document from a dataset. The document has a first relatedness score higher than a first threshold, which indicates that ML models of the system determine that the document is most likely to be relevant to the claim. The dataset includes supporting documents and claims including a first group of claims supported by facts from more than two supporting documents and a second group of claims not supported by the supporting documents. The system selects a set of sentences from the document. The set of sentences have second relatedness scores higher than a second threshold, which indicate that the ML models determine that the set of sentences are most likely to be relevant to the claim. The system determines whether the claim includes facts from the set of sentences.
