  • Publication number: 20230150927
Abstract: The synthesis of a range of pentylbezene-1,3-diol compounds of formula I is disclosed. These compounds bind to cannabinoid 1 and 2 receptors (CB1 and CB2), and are thus presumed to be useful in modulating the activity of such receptors. Accordingly, the use of such synthetic cannabinoids in the treatment of various disorders mediated by CB1 and CB2 is contemplated.

  • Publication number: 20230153653
Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for calculating a predicted time when a first user will be exposed to a spoiler of a first media asset. A media guidance application may retrieve an initial transmission time of the first media asset and a transmission time of a second media asset that precedes the transmission time of the first media asset. The media guidance application may retrieve electronic communications from a second user whose electronic communications the first user has viewed, and determine a subset of the electronic communications that correspond to the second media asset. The media guidance application may calculate a length of time from the transmission time of the second media asset to the earliest availability time of an electronic communication in the subset. The media guidance application may calculate the predicted time based on the transmission time of the first media asset and the length of time.

  • Publication number: 20230153248
Abstract: Technology is disclosed for relocating data in a non-volatile storage system. An integrated memory assembly has a control die and a memory die that contains the memory cells. The control die contains control circuitry that relocates data from one set of physical addresses on the memory die to another set of physical addresses on the memory die. This relocation results in a change of a mapping between logical addresses for the data and the physical addresses for the data. The control circuitry may update an L2P table on the memory die after the relocation to map the logical addresses of the data to the second set of physical addresses. The control die may construct a validity bitmap, which specifies whether data at a physical address is valid or invalid. The foregoing reduces data transfer between the integrated memory assembly and a memory controller, which saves time and power.

  • Publication number: 20230153352
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for performing video retrieval together with video grounding. A word-based query for a video is and encoded into a query representation using a trained query encoder. One or more similar video representations are identified, from a plurality of video representations that are similar to the query representation. Each similar video representation represents a respective relevant video. A grounding is generated for each relevant video by forward propagating each respective similar video representation together with the query representation through a trained grounding module. The relevant videos or identifiers of the relevant videos are outputted together with the grounding generated for each relevant video.

  • Publication number: 20230156426
Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may determine a currently active bandwidth part (BWP). The UE may determine a positioning reference signal (PRS) configuration that specifies PRSs to be measured. The UE may determine that a first subset of the PRSs to be measured are within the currently active BWP and that a second subset of the PRSs to be measured are not within the currently active BWP. The UE may upon determining that measuring the PRSs in the first subset but not measuring the PRSs in the second subset will not produce a measurement result that meets an accuracy requirement, extending the currently active BWP to include at least some of the PRSs in the second subset.

  • Publication number: 20230156012
Abstract: A system includes a plurality of shared network resources and a central server connected by a network. The central server receives from a first user a request for accessing a network resource. The central server identifies a plurality of user groups the first user is part of and determines a number of other users from the identified user groups who have the closest association with the first user. For each closely associated user of the first user, the central server simulates access to the requested network resource by the respective user based on a user group that provides to the other user access to the network resource. Based on results of the simulating, the central server determines a user group that provides a closest network path to the network resource and generates a recommendation to add the first user to the determined user group.

  • Publication number: 20230153010
Abstract: An information management system uses cloud storage resources store secondary copies of primary data created by client computing devices managed by a storage manager. Deduplication operations are performed on the secondary copies, which results in chunk metadata indices that allow for tracking and faster retrieval of the deduplicated secondary copies. The chunk metadata indices may reference data segments of the deduplicated secondary copies. The data segments may be stored in, and across, one or more sub-files. As the secondary copies are aged out from the cloud storage resources, data segments are identified as being orphaned or non-orphaned. Data segments that are orphaned are pruned to remove their corresponding sub-files from the cloud storage resources, where the sub-files are replaced with new sub-files that do not contain the orphaned data segments.
