  • Patent number: 12299304
Abstract: A processing device access a command to program data to a page in a block of a memory device. The processing device determines whether the page is a last remaining open page in the block. The processing device accesses a list that indicates enablement of a function to apply read level offsets to one or more open blocks in the memory device. The processing device determines the list includes an entry that matches to the block. The entry indicates enablement of the function to apply read level offsets to the block. The processing device disables the function based on determining the page is a last remaining open page in the block. The processing device adds the command to a prioritized queue of commands. The memory device executes commands from the prioritized queue in an order based on a priority level assigned to each command.

  • Patent number: 12299317
Abstract: Systems and methods for maintaining order consistency for asynchronous writes in a network device. In one embodiment, a method includes issuing, by a feature agent of a network device, a plurality of writes to software tables which may be contained in the feature agent. For each write, a corresponding entry is added to a log associated with the software tables, the log entry identifying an order of the write among the plurality of writes. A hardware agent accesses the log to select a next one of the entries in the identified write order and then accesses the software table to retrieve content identified by the selected log entry. The hardware agent then translates the information from the software table to a different form if necessary and writes the information to one or more hardware tables that are indicated by the write associated with the selected log entry.

  • Patent number: 12300106
Abstract: An edge device generates an exit event for a vehicle exiting a parking facility. The edge device determines whether the exit event matches with an entry event. Responsive to determining that the exit event does not match to an entry event, the edge device inputs images of the vehicle into a supervised machine learning model and receives, as output from the model, an exit feature vector. The edge device retrieves entry feature vectors corresponding to hanging entry events. A hanging entry event is an entry event for a vehicle with an unknown vehicle identifier. Edge device inputs the exit feature vector and the entry feature vectors into an unsupervised machine learning model and receives, as output from the model, matching scores for each entry feature vector. Edge device matches the exit event to one of the hanging entry events based on the matching scores.

  • Patent number: 12301457
Abstract: In one embodiment, a device identifies peaks of a timeseries of a path metric used to predict performance of a path in a network. The device determines one or more characteristics of the peaks of the timeseries. The device computes, based on the one or more characteristics of the peaks, a measurement frequency for the path metric. The device causes the path metric to be measured in the network according to the measurement frequency.

  • Patent number: 12298961
Abstract: Clock times may be stored at nodes of a database system that are used to provide access to database data using Multi-Version Concurrency Control (MVCC) and implement isolation for distributed transactions. When an access request is received at a processing node of a database, the snapshot time of the access request is determined. The snapshot may be a range of time, with an earliest and latest timestamp. If the snapshot time has a latest time stamp greater than a current timestamp in the clock time, then the clock time may be updated. The clock time and snapshot time may be used to implement time-based MVCC to select a version of a tuple stored in the database to use for performing the access request.

  • Patent number: 12297926
Abstract: An inflation valve arrangement includes an actuation cavity housing connected to a pneumatic valve, the actuation cavity housing comprising an actuation cavity and a piston rod extending from the actuation cavity at least partially into a main fluid channel of the pneumatic valve in an initially extended position for securing the pneumatic valve in a closed position. The arrangement further comprises a solenoid actuated pressure cartridge connected to the actuation cavity housing. The solenoid actuated pressure cartridge comprises a self-contained source of actuation gas. In response to the solenoid actuated pressure cartridge being energized, the solenoid operated pressure cartridge is configured to release the actuation gas from the pressure cavity into the actuation cavity, thereby retracting the piston rod into the actuation cavity, and opening the pneumatic valve body to release a source of inflation gas to an inflation device.

  • Patent number: 12299301
Abstract: Systems and methods for reducing data movement when performing large-sized memory transactions in a memory hierarchy are provided. For certain preselected types of large-size memory transactions, such as memset and memcopy operations, for example, logic of the processor determines whether the type of memory transaction being queued is one of the preselected types for which alteration of the path of data movement is an option. Logic of the processor also determines whether the size of the memory block associated with the transaction is sufficiently large to warrant altering the path of data movement. If the type is one of the preselected types and the size of the memory block is sufficiently large, logic of the LLC controller selects an altered path for data movement that reduces data movement and performs the transaction using the altered path.

  • Patent number: 12299306
Abstract: A system can identify a first group of files that are scheduled to be modified by another operation within a next defined amount of time. The system can remove the first group of files from the files of the file system with respect to a deduplication operation to produce a second group of files. The system can perform a sampling phase on the second group of files, wherein the sampling phase identifies a first group of blocks, and wherein the first group of blocks corresponds to duplicate file system blocks. The system can identify a second group of blocks that correspond to the first group of files. The system can remove any blocks from the first group of blocks that have a respective duplicate in the second group of blocks to produce a third group of blocks. The system can perform the deduplication operation on the third group of blocks.
