  • Patent number: 12302183
Abstract: Techniques to maximize connectivity to a preferred radio access technology (RAT) (e.g., 5G NR) over a less preferred RAT (e.g., 4G LTE) are disclosed. When a user equipment (UE) is camped on a preferred RAT connectivity capable cell (e.g., NR cell, EUTRA dual-connectivity (ENDC) cell), offsets or biases may be applied to delay triggering of a cell reselection. When UE is camped on a non-preferred RAT connectivity capable cell, offset(s) may be applied to accelerate triggering of the cell reselection. When cell reselection is triggered, offsets or biases may be applied to favor reselection to preferred RAT connectivity capable cell over a non-preferred RAT connectivity capable cell.

  • Patent number: 12299640
Abstract: A method, a computer system, and a computer program product for communicating employment opportunities to job candidates. A recruiting system receives a job posting from an organization communicating over a first network. The recruiting system matches the job requirements in the job posting to a candidate profile. The recruiting system identifies a mobile device associated with the candidate profile, and an interaction template that describes a conversational flow of messages for soliciting an application for the job from a job candidate. A dialogue is initiated with the mobile device, by sending a transmission object built from a message in the interaction template. A response received from the mobile device based on rules that describe a conversational flow for the interaction template. If the response is positive, the recruiting system submits the user as a candidate for the job by posting the information in the response to the organization.

  • Patent number: 12301648
Abstract: As a media program is aired to listeners, agents executed by a control system monitor actions by the creator or by listeners to ensure that the creator or the listeners comply with relevant policies and that the media program is aired as scheduled. The agents are programmed with sets of rules regarding content, language, advertising or other restrictions, and configured to process signals representative of actions taken by the creator or the listeners to determine whether such actions comply with such rules. The signals may represent spoken words, written messages, or interactions by listeners, among other actions. The agents interpret the signals to identify intended actions of creators or listeners, and to determine whether the intended actions would comply with each of the rules associated with the media program. The agents are also configured to identify and execute alternative actions as necessary.

  • Patent number: 12301472
Abstract: Techniques for providing request throttling using proportional, integral, and exponential smoothing algorithms are disclosed. A distributed computing system can include a throttler engine that receives a plurality of requests targeting a software component within the distributed computing system. The throttler engine can aggregate the requests into a queue based on a time window. The throttler engine can determine a received request rate and a request rate limit for the software component and then compute a throttled request rate. The throttled request rate can include correction terms derived from proportional and integral computations and a correction term obtained from an exponential smoothing algorithm. The throttler engine can then provide throttled requests from the queue to the software component.

  • Patent number: 12298402
Abstract: A method generates first points based on a first scan of an environment that includes one or more moving objects. The method transforms the first points into a first static frame, which includes removing one or more of the first points corresponding to the one or more moving objects. The method generates second points based on a second scan of the environment that includes the one or more moving objects. The method transforms the second points into a second static frame, which includes removing one or more of the second points corresponding to the one or more moving objects. The method combines the first static frame and the second static frame into an accumulated static frame, which has an increase in resolution compared with the first static frame. The method then loads the accumulated static frame into a point cloud.

  • Patent number: 12299391
Abstract: A natural language understanding (NLU) framework includes a lookup source framework, which enables a lookup source system to be defined having one or more lookup sources. The lookup source system can operate in a number of different manners to facilitate repository-aware inference of user utterances, for example, by facilitating vocabulary injection during compilation of an utterance meaning model and/or an understanding model. Additionally, the lookup source system can be leveraged to cleanse client-specific training data of sensitive values to generate generic training data that can be used to train the NLU framework of other clients. The lookup sources can be compiled in a synchronous or asynchronous manner, which enables lookup sources to be compiled in an on-demand basis from test source data. Additionally, understanding models that reference lookup sources can be periodically recompiled while leveraging the latest versions of the lookup sources for vocabulary injection.

  • Patent number: 12300112
Abstract: A system and method for optimizing pre-departure sequencing instantiates independent agent processes for each aircraft. Each independent agent is trained via multi-agent reinforcement machine learning with an existing set of data to maximize that agent's individual reward within established bounds and while cooperating with each other agent. The interaction of the independent agents produces an optimized pre-departure sequence. The individual reward is defined with respect to a change between the current timestamp and the newly suggested timestamp. A lower delta results in a higher reward.

  • Publication number: 20250150896
Abstract: Some examples of the techniques described herein may provide encoding or decoding approaches to generate vectors that meet an orthogonality condition in vector compression procedures (e.g., vector compression or decompression). Encoder layers (e.g., neural network layers) on the encode side may generate orthogonal compressed vectors or decoder layers (e.g., neural network layers) on the decode side may generate orthogonal decompressed vectors. For instance, a neural network layer may be trained to generate a compressed or decompressed vector that satisfies an orthogonality condition relative to one or more previously compressed or decompressed vectors in accordance with a dependency order or a compression sequence. An indication of the dependency order may be communicated between the encode side and the decode side to order encoder or decoder layers (e.g., to execute encoder or decoder layers in the compression sequence) to produce compressed or decompressed vectors that satisfy an orthogonality condition.
