Abstract: A network processing device identifies a first request to access a line of memory in a remote memory resource and determines, based on the address of the line of memory, that the line of memory is associated with a sparse region in a memory pool. The address is provided as an input to a probabilistic data structure, where the probabilistic data structure is to generate a result to identify whether the line of memory includes a common data pattern. The network processing device returns the common data pattern as a response to the first request if the result of the probabilistic data structure indicates that the first line of memory includes the common data pattern.

  • Publication number: 20230034741
Abstract: To protect a dataset with low overhead, a cybersecurity appliance uses multiple structures to facilitate efficient matching (“matching infrastructure”) when applying data leakage prevention rules. The cybersecurity appliance creates the matching infrastructure in advance from scanning the dataset to be protected. The cybersecurity appliance creates the matching infrastructure with differentiation among tokens occurring in the dataset at different frequencies: unique, infrequent or rare, and frequent. The differentiation of tokens into different classes of frequency of occurrence within the dataset allows efficient matching with a bias towards the less frequently occurring tokens which are more likely the tokens that are sensitive while still allowing efficient matching of frequent tokens that form a restricted data pattern of a DLP rule.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system and method for controlling oxygen supply equipments. The system is equipped with pressure sensors coupled to the oxygen supply equipments. Depending on the oxygen supply selected by a user for the patient, the pressure sensor monitors the current pressure of the preset oxygen supply during an inhalation phase corresponding to the patient. If the current pressure is less than a minima value or if a pressure drop rate is higher than or equal to a threshold rate or both, the system generates an alarm notifying the user to check the preset oxygen supply and in the meanwhile switches the preset oxygen supply from one oxygen supply equipment to another oxygen supply equipment or vice-versa.

  • Publication number: 20230029677
Abstract: An indexing technique provides an index data structure for efficient retrieval of a snapshot from a long-term storage service (LTSS) of an archival storage system. The snapshot is generated from typed data of a logical entity, such as a virtual disk (vdisk). The data of the snapshot is replicated to a frontend data service of the LTSS sequentially and organized as one or more data objects for storage by a backend data service of LTSS in an object store of the archival storage system. Metadata associated with the snapshot (i.e., snapshot metadata) is recorded as a log and persistently stored on storage media local to the frontend data service. The snapshot metadata includes information describing the snapshot data, e.g., a logical offset range of a snapshot of the vdisk and, thus, is used to construct the index data structure. Notably, construction of the index data structure is deferred until after the entirety of the snapshot data has been replicated and received by the frontend data service.

  • Publication number: 20230037228
Abstract: Fifth generation and beyond (5G+) systems are expected to adopt new network architectures, services, and deployment schemes for compatibility with the latest technologies and end user's needs. With increase in user equipment (UE), also come variety of advanced applications and use-cases, wherein each application type has its own KPI requirements. Existing resource allocation schemes in cellular networks are not able to handle such dynamic requirements due to which network slice can lead to unwanted mismanagement of resources. Present application provides systems and methods for application-aware dynamic slicing in radio access network (RAN), wherein RAN slicing is proactively managed by learning historical slice demands and consumptions. Once slices are created, the system allocates resources to user equipment by following optimal inter-slice and intra-slice mechanisms based on application type(s), traffic demand(s) and wireless characteristics of UE.

  • Publication number: 20230030809
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein to dynamically update content restrictions for multiple users by detecting a first user in the proximity of a media device playing a first content item and detecting a second user entering the proximity of the media device. In response to detecting a second user entering the proximity of the media device and receiving a command from the first user that controls playing the first content, the system modifies a stored relationship between the first user and the second user to track the relationship between the first user and the second user. Thereafter, when the system detects the first user and the second user in the proximity of a media device playing a second content, in response, the system automatically performs an action that controls the playing of the second content (e.g., without user having to issue those commands).
