  • Publication number: 20230028391
Abstract: Techniques for efficiently managing a file clone from a filesystem which supports efficient volume snapshots are provided. In some embodiments, a system may receive an instruction to remove the file clone from the filesystem. The file clone may be a point-in-time copy of metadata of an original file. The system may further—for a file map entry in a filesystem tree associated with the file clone, the file map entry indicating a data block—decrement a reference count in a reference count entry associated with the file map entry. The reference count entry may be stored in the filesystem tree according to a key and the key may comprise an identification of the original file. The system may further reclaim the data block in a storage system when the reference count is zero.

  • Publication number: 20230023647
Abstract: An electronic device includes a first communication device operable across a first medium of communication and a second communication device operable across a second medium of communication that is different from the first medium of communication. One or more processors operable with the first communication device and the second communication device obtain a client certificate digest from a prospective client device using the first communication device. Thereafter, the one or more processors receive a client certificate from a remote electronic device using the second communication device. The one or more processors then verifying that the prospective client device and the remote electronic device are the same device prior to establishing a secure communication session.

  • Publication number: 20230029026
Abstract: A network processing device connects to one or more devices in a computing node and connects to one or more other network processing devices of other computing nodes. The network processing device identifies a policy for allowing devices in other computing nodes to access a particular resource of one of the devices in its computing node. The network processing device receives an access request to access the particular resource from another network processing device and sends a request to the device hosting the particular resource based on the access request and the policy.

  • Publication number: 20230022213
Abstract: A topology configuration system receives a graphic representation comprising object images of information handling systems to be configured for operating as a complex collection of information handling systems, uses artificial intelligence and deep learning to analyze images on the graphic representation and determine specific information handling systems present in the complex collection of information handling systems. A requirement list is used to create a configuration job. Sets of user instructions are sent to a user to guide the user and sets of device instructions are sent to each information handling system so that the user can configure the plurality of information handling systems to operate as the complex collection of information handling systems. Validation packets may be sent to each information handling system to confirm the complex collection of information handling systems is set up quickly and with little or no troubleshooting.

  • Publication number: 20230029357
Abstract: A system for generating and applying a secure token in a resource distribution network is provided. For example, a headend system generates a time-based token based on a time duration specified for a meter. The time-based token indicates the time duration for the meter. The time-based token is further generated based on an identifier of the meter. The headend system transmits the time-based token to the meter via at least a mesh network. After receiving the time-based token, the meter validates the time-based token to determine that the time-based token is generated for the meter based on information related to the identifier of the meter. If the meter determines that the time-based token is valid, the meter connects premises associated with the meter to a resource distribution network for at least the time duration specified in the time-based token.

  • Publication number: 20230026279
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may support dual connectivity. That is, the UE may establish communications with a master node and a secondary node of a wireless communications network. The master node may correspond to a master cell group (MCG) and the secondary node may correspond to a secondary cell group (SCG). In some examples, as described herein, the UE operating in dual connectivity may collect data for optimization of the wireless communications network or upon detecting a failure associated with the master cell group or the SCG and transmit the collected data to a network entity (e.g., one of the master node or the secondary node), where the collected data is based on the SCG being in a deactivated state. In some examples, upon receiving the collected data, the network entity may attempt to recover from the failure.

  • Publication number: 20230023262
Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for supporting patching in a multi-tenant application server environment. The system can associate one or more partitions with a tenant, for use by that tenant, wherein a partition is a runtime and administrative subdivision or slice of a domain. A patching process can take advantage of high-availability features provided by an application server clustering environment, to apply patches in a controlled, rolling restart, which maintains a domain's ability to operate without interruption, or with zero downtime. The process can be used to automate complex or long running tasks, including preserving an unpatched or prior version of an application server, application, or other software component for possible rollback, or providing automatic reversion in the event of an unrecoverable error.

  • Publication number: 20230025154
Abstract: A dual agent reinforcement learning autonomous system (DARLAS) for the autonomous operation of aircraft and/or provide pilot assistance. DARLAS includes an artificial neural network, safe agent, and cost agent. The safe agent is configured to calculate safe reward Q values associated with landing the aircraft at a predetermined destination or calculated emergency destination. The cost agent is configured to calculate cost reward Q values associated with maximum fuel efficiency and aircraft performance. The safe and cost reward Q values are based on state-action vectors associated with an aircraft, which may include state data and action data. The system may include a user output device that provides an indication of an action to a user. The action corresponds to an agent action having the highest safe reward Q value and the highest cost require Q value. DARLAS prioritizes the highest safe reward Q value in the event of conflict.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods, and computer storage media for detecting and classifying an exposure defect in an image using neural networks trained via a limited amount of labeled training images. An image may be applied to a first neural network to determine whether the images includes an exposure defect. Detected defective image may be applied to a second neural network to determine an exposure defect classification for the image. The exposure defect classification can includes severe underexposure, medium underexposure, mild underexposure, mild overexposure, medium overexposure, severe overexposure, and/or the like. • Publication number: 20230028529
Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, and software to manage processing queue allocation based on addressing attributes of an inner packet. In one implementation, a first gateway identifies processing queues at a second gateway and assigns a unique flow label to each of the processing queues. The first gateway further receives a packet from a computing node that is directed toward the second gateway. The first gateway hashes addressing information in the packet to select a flow label, encapsulates the packet with the flow label in the outer encapsulation header for the encapsulated packet, and forwards the packet toward the second gateway.

  • Publication number: 20230027953
Abstract: Improved network configuration options enable reduced capability (Redcap) devices to coexist with legacy devices. A master information block (MIB) cellBarred indication received in a Synchronization System Block (SSB) by a Redcap device may be ignored by the Redcap device, which may read a System Information Block1 (SIB1) to determine whether to connect to the cell defined by the received SSB. The Redcap device may consider the cell barred if the SIB1 includes a cellBarred indication targeting Redcap devices. The Redcap device may alternately search for an alternative SSB indicated by the SIB1 to determine whether to connect to the cell defined by the alternative SSB. A network node may broadcast Redcap specific and legacy specific SSBs at the same frequency location in a time-multiplexed manner, with each type of device determining cell access based on the received specific SSB. The network node may transmit SSB bursts specifically targeting Redcap devices.

  • Publication number: 20230025679
Abstract: The method of some embodiments assigns a client to a particular datacenter from among multiple datacenters. The method is performed at a first datacenter, starting when it receives security data associated with a second datacenter. Then the method receives a DNS request from the client. Based on the received security data, the method sends a DNS reply assigning the client to the particular datacenter instead of the second datacenter. The receiving and sending is performed by a DNS cluster of the datacenter in some embodiments. The particular datacenter includes a set of servers implementing an application for the client in some embodiments. The datacenter to which the client gets assigned can be the first datacenter or a third datacenter.
