  • Publication number: 20250113123
Abstract: Networks and network elements having an optical power control block, service and power control orchestrator, used to activate, deactivate and perform optical control of channels is disclosed hereby. The invention introduces the idea that, user created service would be activated or deactivated in smaller increments which would help to mitigate power transient on the transmission line. This approach of incremental activation or deactivation would help to correct against undesirable power changes on rest of the optical channels sharing the common optical path. In addition, it provides a way to monitor the health of increment under activation throughout the activation and if necessary optical power thresholds being not met, it can be rolled back. During the process of such an incremental activation or deactivation, the already activated portion of the channel would continue to be optically controlled independently.

  • Publication number: 20250112767
Abstract: A system includes a memory and a processor that validates an interaction between an initiating and a receiving device. An encrypted request is received to perform the interaction and the processor extracts an initiating device identification, a receiving device identification, and one or more numerical values associated with the interaction. Using this extracted information, the processor produces a verification key by applying a hash function and a verification checksum value using a checksum function. The verification key and verification checksum value are then compared with an authentication key and authentication checksum value that were produced in a same manner prior to the interaction being initiated. If it is determined that either the verification key and the authentication key do not have the same value, or verification checksum value and authentication checksum value do not have the same value, then the interaction is reversed.

  • Publication number: 20250111675
Abstract: Methods and systems for media trend detection and maintenance are provided herein. A set of media items each having common media characteristics is identified. A set of pose values is determined for each respective media item of the set of media items. Each pose value is associated with a particular predefined pose for objects depicted by the set of media items. A set of distance scores is calculated. Each distance score represents a distance between the respective set of pose values determined for a media item and a respective set of pose values determined for an additional media item. A coherence score is determined for the set of media items based on the calculated set of distance scores. Responsive to a determination that the coherence score satisfies one or more coherence criteria, a determination is made that the set of media items corresponds to a media trend of a platform.

Abstract: Examples described herein relate to a processor to execute the instructions to cause: issue a first call to an application program interface (API) to an accelerator to cause the accelerator to compress data. In some examples, the API is to indicate whether the data is to be preserved in a buffer. In some examples, the API is to indicate a first offset. In some examples, the accelerator is to store the data starting at an address that is the first offset from a beginning address of the buffer allocated in a memory device. In some examples, the accelerator is to store the compressed data starting at a second offset from the beginning address of the buffer while the data is also stored in the buffer.

  • Publication number: 20250113287
Abstract: A transceiver for sending and receiving data packets on a communication channel. The transceiver receives a first request packet including a plurality of information fields having a first type of operation to be performed on a memory device and a first address. The transceiver stores the first type of operation and the first address in a memory associated with the transceiver, and sends to a target device, the first request packet with the first address. The transceiver then receives a second request packet, including a second address in the memory device, and determines, based on the first type of operation, the first address, and the second address, that the second request packet is part of a sequence of request packets to the target device. The transceiver then eliminates, in a header of the second request packet, a portion of the second address to form a third request packet and sends the third request packet to the target device.

  • Publication number: 20250112961
Abstract: Methods, systems, devices, and computer-readable media for generating authentication policy recommendations and insights using generative AI are described. An authentication policy recommendation system associated with an identity management system may receive a request from a client organization for an authentication policy configuration recommendation for an application associated with the client organization. One or more recommended authentication policy rules may be generated for the application using a machine learning model (such as a large-learning model). The model may output the authentication policy rules in a machine-readable format. Based on an analysis of applying information about the client organization to the model-generated recommended authentication policy rule to generate a context-specific recommended authentication policy rule, an impact of implementing the context-specific recommended authentication policy rule may be determined and output.

  • Publication number: 20250111272
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for distributing digital contents to client devices are described. The system obtains, for each user in a set of users, user attribute data and, for a subset of the users, consent data for controlling usage of the user attribute data. The system partitions, based at least on the consent data for the subset of users, the set of users into a first group of users and a second group of users. The system generates a respective training dataset based on the data for each group of user, and uses the datasets to train a machine learning model configured to predict information about one or more users. In particular, the system applies differential privacy to the second training dataset without applying differential privacy to the first training dataset during training.
