Abstract: Provided are a hybrid additive manufacturing device and a hybrid additive manufacturing method of secondary functional material filled lattice structures. The hybrid additive manufacturing device of secondary functional material filled lattice structures includes a frame, a main nozzle assembly, a plurality of auxiliary nozzle assemblies, a coupler, an operating platform and a movable mechanism. The coupler can be driven by the movable mechanism to connect the main nozzle assembly and move the main nozzle assembly to the operating platform to generate an support-free open-cell lattice structure formed by thermoplastic materials firstly; and then, the coupler can return the main nozzle assembly to the frame and connect one of the auxiliary nozzle assemblies to fill secondary functional materials into a lattice cavity inside the lattice structure, so that the lattice structure forms a closed-cell lattice structure.

Abstract: According to an embodiment, a digital circuit with N number of redundant flip-flops is provided, each having a data input coupled to a common data signal. The digital circuit operates in a functional mode and a test mode. During test mode, a first flip-flop is arranged as part of a test path and N-1 flip-flops are arranged as shadow logic. A test pattern at the common data signal is provided and a test output signal is observed at an output terminal of the first flip-flop to determine faults within a test path of the first flip-flop. At the same cycle, the test output signals of each of the N-1 number of redundant flip-flops is observed through the functional path to determine faults.

Abstract: A method can include determining a frame processing operation for one or more frames of an image from an electronic device, the one or more frames of the image corresponding to a body of a user; determining if the electronic device is in alignment; determining if the electronic device is in an environment that satisfies a light threshold; determining pre-selected joint points for the body of the user in the one or more frames of the image based on pre-selected joint landmarks defined in a configuration set; determining a face alignment of the user in the one or more frames of the image; determining hair of the user is properly positioned in the one or more frames of the image; determining enough skin of the user is visible in the one or more frames of the image; and in response to the one or more frames of the image being validated, capturing an image of the user with the pre-selected joint landmarks to enable items to be overlaid on the image of the user. Abstract: An automated vehicle (AV) is configured to perform automated travel, and includes vehicle sensors configured to detect a second vehicle in a surrounding environment of the AV. The AV includes at least one of a brake mechanism, an accelerator mechanism, a steering control, and a user interface configured to generate a user response to automated travel by the AV. The AV includes a computing device configured to identify an interaction between the AV and the second vehicle while executing an automated travel path, and receive user responses to automated travel by the AV. The computing device is configured to determine at least one aspect of wellbeing, trust, and satisfaction of the user riding the AV based on the user responses, and determine a learned optimal policy which increases the at least one aspect of wellbeing, trust, and satisfaction based on the user responses.

Abstract: A memory instance comprises a plurality of banks of storage cells to store data values, and input/output circuitry shared between the plurality of banks for receiving write data or outputting read data. Each bank of storage cells supports a power saving mode and an operational mode. A control interface receives power control signals for controlling use of the power saving mode. Bank power control circuitry individually controls, for each of a plurality of subsets of banks of storage cells within the same memory instance, whether that subset of banks is in the power saving mode based on the power control signals. For at least one setting for the power control signals, one subset of banks is in the power saving mode while another subset of banks in the same memory instance is in the operational mode. Also disclosed is power control circuitry which selects the power mode to use for each subset of banks and generates the power control signals.

Abstract: Efficiently handling restart indices during tile-based deferred rendering (TBDR) by graphics processing units (GPUs) is disclosed herein. In some aspects, a processor circuit of a GPU determines, during a tile sorting pass, a location of a restart index in a plurality of indices of an index buffer associated with a primitive topology, and determines a skip count indicating a number of indices to skip during a tile rendering pass, based on the primitive topology and the location of the restart index. In some aspects, the processor circuit also determines visibility statuses corresponding to primitives of the primitive topology, and generates visibility data comprising the visibility statuses and the skip count. Subsequently, during the tile rendering pass, the processor circuit bypasses fetching of the restart index, based on the skip count. According to some aspects, the processor circuit may also assemble the primitives based on the visibility data.

Abstract: Retrieving content items in response to a query in a way that increases user satisfaction and increases chances of users consuming a retrieved content item is not trivial. One retrieval strategy may include dividing the content items into buckets according to a dimension about the content items and retrieving a top K number of items from different buckets to balance semantic affinity and the dimension. Choosing an optimal K for different buckets for a given query can be a challenge. Reinforcement learning can be used to train and implement an agent model that can choose the optimal K for different buckets.

Abstract: Various embodiments comprise a Fifth Generation (5G) visited wireless communication network to interwork with a Long Term Evolution (LTE) home network. In some examples, the 5G visited wireless communication network comprises an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) and an Interworking Function (IWF). The AMF receives a service request from a 5G capable visiting user device. The AMF generates Fifth Generation Core (5GC) authentication signaling to authenticate the visiting user device. Prior to delivering the 5GC authentication signaling to the home network, the IWF translates the 5GC authentication signaling into Evolved Packet Core (EPC) authentication signaling and transfers the EPC authentication signaling to the home network. The IWF receives an EPC authentication response from the home network and translates the EPC authentication response into a 5GC authentication response.
