  • Publication number: 20250045996
Abstract: In various examples, a virtually animated and interactive agent may be rendered for visual and audible communication with one or more users with an application. For example, a conversational artificial intelligence (AI) assistant may be rendered and displayed for visual communication in addition to audible communication with end-users. As such, the AI assistant may leverage the visual domain—in addition to the audible domain—to more clearly communicate with users, including interacting with a virtual environment in which the AI assistant is rendered. Similarly, the AI assistant may leverage audio, video, and/or text inputs from a user to determine a request, mood, gesture, and/or posture of a user for more accurately responding to and interacting with the user.

  • Publication number: 20250041515
Abstract: A vascular access device (VAD) monitoring system includes a VAD with a catheter tube that is subcutaneously disposed and incorporates a fluorescent dye. An optical imaging system is also provided, comprising a light source emitting infrared (IR) excitation light and a camera capable of detecting signal light emitted by the fluorescent dye upon exposure to the excitation light. This enables real-time monitoring of the VAD, allowing for the detection of any potential complications or issues related to the vascular access device. The combination of the catheter tube with the fluorescent dye and the optical imaging system provides a non-invasive and efficient means of monitoring the VAD, enhancing patient safety and improving overall healthcare outcomes.

  • Publication number: 20250047767
Abstract: A method provides techniques for adjusting a screen position of a moveable display on an electronic device, where the screen position is based on a device state. This enables a user to infer a device state, such as a current volume setting, battery charge level, or other setting, based on a position of the screen while the display is in an off state, enabling conveying of device state information without using any power. The method includes determining an idle state of the electronic device, determining a display state of the electronic device, and determining a device state of the electronic device. The method includes, in response to determining that the device is in an idle state and the display is in an off state, actuating the translation mechanism to translate the blade assembly to a position indicative of the device state of the electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20250048145
Abstract: A communications system may include a user equipment (UE) device that communicates with a cellular network having base stations. A UE may enter a connected mode in which the UE and a first base station in a first cell convey wireless data. While in connected mode, the first base station may transmit measurement objects to the UE, each being associated with a different cell neighboring the first cell. The UE may store the measurement objects. When the UE enters an idle mode, the UE may perform measurements on the neighboring cells using the measurement objects. The UE may then use the measurements to determine whether to re-select to a neighbor cell when the UE is unable to acquire a measurement configuration from the base station in idle mode. This may help to mitigate the occurrence of idle mode out-of-service (OOS) conditions for the UE device.

  • Publication number: 20250045535
Abstract: Training data can significantly impact the performance of machine learning models. Its impact may be more significant in transfer learning. Different data sources can be used to generate training data used in transfer learning. The training data originating from user interaction logs may be subject to presentation bias. The training data originating from model generated labeled data may have false positives. Poor quality training data may cause the machine learning model to perform poorly. To address some of these concerns, a checker having one or more models can check for false positives and for labeled data entries that may have been subject to presentation bias. Such entries may be removed or modified. In some cases, the checker can generate a test that can be used to test the machine learning model and penalize the machine learning model if the model generates an incorrect prediction.

  • Publication number: 20250047427
Abstract: This disclosure pertains to systems and methods to detect network errors in a parallel redundant protocol (PRP) network. A node-level redundancy error subsystem of an intelligent electronic device (IED) maintains records (e.g., counts) of information associated with missing duplicate frames expected from node devices on the PRP network via redundant first and second local area networks (LANs). Non-zero counts of missing duplicate frames may be identified as network errors.

  • Patent number: 12216704
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods, and computer storage media for organization of digital media in which a digital media gallery is organized based on underlying events or occasions by leveraging content tags associated with media. Content tags and their corresponding confidence scores for a set of media are compared with correlation scores of content tags with certain event types. Upon receipt of a set of media, candidate event types may be determined based on content tags associated with the set of media and relevant tags for different event types. The candidate event types are scored based on the confidence scores and the correlations scores for each candidate event type. The highest scoring candidate event type may be presented to the user as the event type for the set of media.

  • Patent number: 12219437
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for inter-network messaging among private and public 5G networks. For instance, a first server on a public 5G mobile network can receive a first message directed to a first wireless device associated with a first network identity. The first server can determine, based on the first network identity, that the first wireless device is associated with a second network identity, wherein the second network identity is used to identify the first wireless device on a private 5G mobile network. The first server can send a copy of the first message to a second server on the private 5G mobile network for transmission to the first wireless device through the private 5G mobile network based on the second network identity.

  • Patent number: 12219493
Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for channel sounding for wireless communications. Some implementations more specifically relate to scheduling sounding reference signal (SRS) resource sets for wireless devices having more than 4 receive (RX) antenna ports. In some implementations, a base station may determine an antenna switching capability of a user equipment (UE). The antenna switching capability indicates a number of RX antenna ports of the UE. The base station schedules a number of SRS resource sets for the UE based at least in part on the number of RX antenna ports in excess of four. For example, the number of RX antenna ports may be equal to 8. As another example, the number of RX antenna ports may be equal to 6. The base station further receives, from the UE, uplink transmissions of one or more SRS resources for each of the scheduled SRS resource sets.
