  • Publication number: 20250055810
Abstract: A communication network includes first switches interconnected with second switches. Each first switch includes a first integrated circuit (IC) switch chip, downlink ports, and uplink ports. Each second switch includes ports coupled to at least one uplink port of each of the first switches, and a second IC switch chip in an IC package. To permit each second IC switch chip to forward packets amongst a large number of first switches and to reduce a number of external interconnects of the IC package, each second IC switch chip includes sets of multiplexer/demultiplexer circuitry, each multiplexer/demultiplexer circuitry being coupled between an external interconnect, and a set of multiple internal network interfaces of the second IC switch chip. The multiplexer/demultiplexer circuitry demultiplexes a data stream from the external interconnect to multiple internal network interfaces, and multiplexes multiple data streams from the multiple internal network interfaces to the external interconnect.

  • Publication number: 20250053670
Abstract: An aspect of the present invention facilitates secure data exchange between entities. In one embodiment, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (provided according to aspects of the present invention) sends on behalf of a first entity, a link to a second entity, the first entity being an authorized user of the ERP system and the second entity being an unauthorized user of the ERP system. Upon receiving an indication that the link has been selected by the second entity in an end user system, the ERP system verifies the second entity based on the link and facilitates the second entity to either view a first data stored in the ERP system or add a second data to the ERP system.

  • Publication number: 20250054529
Abstract: A device includes an array powered between virtual supply and reference voltages, with each row having a wordline and each column having a bitline and complementary bitline. The virtual supply voltage circuit includes a first transistor configured to output the virtual supply voltage, and a second transistor configured to turn off to reduce current supplied to the array. A column driver, while the second transistor is off, drives the bitlines and complementary bitlines to opposite logic states in response to an internal clock. A row decoder asserts wordlines in response to the internal clock. Due to the reduced current supplied to the array, the bitlines remain at a logic high state and the complementary bitlines fall to a logic-low state, resetting the memory cells.

  • Patent number: 12221657
Abstract: The taxonomic resolution obtained with conventional sequencing methods like Sanger (longer read lengths) takes a huge amount of time. While, NGS technologies (shorter read lengths) involves a lot of cost in sequencing. In addition to that the accuracy and depth of taxonomic classification is also less. A method and system for improving accuracy of amplicon sequencing based taxonomic profiling of microbial communities has been provided. The proposed strategy relies on obtaining taxonomic abundance profiles of a microbial community from two paired-end sequencing experiments, each of which targets different pair-wise combinations of non-contiguous (or contiguous) V-regions. The two taxonomic profiles are then combined based on (pre-estimated) accuracies of the individual V-regions (targeted in the experiments) in resolving each of the taxonomic groups under consideration.

  • Patent number: 12220667
Abstract: The present disclosure describes compositions and methods for preparing membrane protein nanosheets and two-dimensional crystals. In particular, the methods employ a solvent. A mixture of a polymer and a membrane protein is solubilized in the solvent, applied to a substrate, and subsequently dried to form the nanosheet or two-dimensional crystal. Applicants have surprisingly found that the membrane proteins maintain their structure when exposed to solvents during the short processing time utilized.

  • Patent number: 12225258
Abstract: A system for determining a location and an orientation of a remote control unit within a mesh network. A remote control unit (RCU) includes a top wireless orientation beacon at a first end and a bottom wireless orientation beacon at a second end. The top wireless orientation beacon and the bottom wireless orientation beacon provide location information to a controller device. A plurality of wireless mesh beacons are disposed in a predetermined area to form a mesh network, and the controller device uses the plurality of mesh beacons to generate a map of the predetermined area. The controller device processes location information obtained from the RCU to determine a position and orientation of the RCU relative to the controller device in the map of the predetermined area.

  • Patent number: 12222865
Abstract: The system described herein introduces a cache that a file system uses to determine, for a current object, if the process to merge different types of access control information into merged access control information has already been performed for a previous object. Stated alternatively, the file system uses the cache to determine whether a current object being processed for storage has the same combination of access control information as a previous object that has already been processed for storage. If the current object has the same combination of access control information as the previous object, the file system is able to associate merged access control information for the previous object with the current object via the use of a pointer. Consequently, the file system avoids having to perform the resource-intensive process of merging the different types of access control information for the current object.

  • Patent number: 12223554
Abstract: In some embodiments, a computer system generates a recommendation for a user of an online service based on user actions that have been performed by the user within a threshold amount of time before the generation of the recommendation. For each user action, the computer system determines an intent classification that identifies an activity of the user and that corresponds to different types of user actions, as well as a preference classification that identifies a target of the activity, and then stores these intent and preference classifications as part of indications of the user actions for use in generating different types of recommendations using different types of recommendation models. Additionally, the computer system may use mini-batches of data from an incoming stream of logged data to train an incremental update to one or more recommendation models.
