Abstract: An LDPC decoder receives channel information and performs a bit flipping algorithm to correct unsatisfied checks with respect to a parity matrix H. The threshold condition for determining whether to flip a bit is a function of the channel information itself. A threshold Thk used to evaluate the threshold condition may vary between iterations based on the number of iterations, number of bits flipped in the previous iteration, and number of unsatisfied checks. A threshold Thki may be calculated for each bit position. Thki and the threshold condition may be a function of whether bit position i was flipped in a previous iteration. A binning approach for parameters of the threshold condition may be used to reduce hardware complexity.

  • Publication number: 20240094937
Abstract: Techniques are described for enabling concurrent and non-blocking replication object deletion during cross-region replications. In some embodiments, in a target file system, a target replication pipeline as part of a cross-region replication, and a deletion pipeline operate in parallel. The deletion pipeline deletes processed objects reaching the last pipeline stage of the target replication pipeline after each checkpoint in the target replication pipeline. In some embodiments, after a non-recoverable failure during the cross-region replication, the cross-region replication can be restarted from the beginning (i.e., fresh restart) without waiting for its unused objects in the Object Store to be deleted by utilizing a generation number associated with each object to delete the unused objects in a background process while allowing deleting processed objects as normal for the freshly restarted cross-region replication.

  • Publication number: 20240098513
Abstract: Systems and methods to identify a growth classification/categorization for a geographic area that helps a network provider to solve for what types of planning opportunities are available at various area granularities is disclosed. The system computes values for a set of growth criteria for a geographic area. The growth criteria are related to planning, usability, customer experience, sales, population, and so on. Based on the growth-criteria values, the system identifies a classification/categorization for the area. For example, the system classifies an area as an invest area (e.g., requiring engineering action), a grow area (e.g., requiring sales action/being sales ready), a defend area (e.g., requiring engineering and sales actions to continue current trend), or a fix area (e.g., likely requiring both engineering and sales actions to improve current trend). Based on the area classification, the system can then provide actionable insights to drive improvement in network coverage and customer experience.

  • Publication number: 20240098478
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may support multi-subscriber identity module (SIM) operation in dual SIM dual active (DSDA) deployments. In some aspects, the UE may dynamically allocate its hardware capabilities between a first network subscription and a second network subscription based on current or predicted future network conditions. The UE may predict future network conditions based on past and/or current measurement reports of network conditions. In some aspects, a UE may determine that a first network subscription's hardware capability is better suited to perform one or more network measurements assigned to a second network subscription of the UE. The UE may perform one or more network measurements assigned to the second network subscription via the first network subscription, and then transmit the report to the network via the second network subscription.

  • Publication number: 20240097186
Abstract: An EB-PVD technique was used to fabricate ceramic/polymer/ceramic (LAGP/PE/LAGP) hybrid separator for rechargeable LIBs and Li batteries. The application of a ceramic electrolyte (LAGP) layer on traditional PE separator soaked in 1-M LiAsF6 liquid electrolyte combined the best attributes of traditional PE separator and solid inorganic electrolytes. The synergistic behavior of hybrid separator resulted in a high mechanical stability/flexibility, increased liquid uptake, high ion conduction, reduced cell voltage polarization, no lithium dendrite formation, and increased usable lithium content as compared to the state-of-the-art PE separator used in LIBs. The functional separator can be used to prolong life cycle and power capability of present LIBs. Thickness and density optimization of LAGP or similar electrolytes on polymer or other battery separators and their use in full Li battery (LIB, Li—S, Li—O2, Li-Ph, flow battery) cells are expected to further improve performance.

  • Publication number: 20240095782
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to automatically receiving, modifying, sequencing, and displaying vehicle images for marketing to prospective buyers. A seller uploads images of a vehicle to the system, which system uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to classify the images, identify objects within the images, add backgrounds, banners, and hotspots, and generate metadata associating the results of the foregoing processes with the particular images. The system uses the stored metadata to sequence the images in a format predetermined by the seller and upload the sequenced images for display to a prospective buyer.

  • Publication number: 20240098138
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for communication efficient distributed mean estimation. In particular, aspects of the present disclosure can be implemented by a system in which a number of vectors reside on a number of different clients, and a centralized server device seeks to estimate the mean of such vectors. According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a client computing device can rotate a vector by a random rotation matrix and then subsequently perform probabilistic quantization on the rotated vector. According to another aspect of the present disclosure, subsequent to quantization but prior to transmission, the client computing can encode the quantized vector according to a variable length coding scheme (e.g., by computing variable length codes).

In some examples, the contextual information is associated with a knowledge base associated with or corresponding to the vehicle. The systems and methods then generate a prompt using the text data, the question/answer pair(s), and/or the contextual information. Additionally, the systems and methods determine, using a language model(s) and based at least on the prompt, an output associated with the text data. For instance, the output may include information that answers the question associated with the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240098527
Abstract: This document describes improvements in range and reliability for wireless mesh networks implementing IEEE 802.11 networking technologies. Reducing the number of spatial streams, N, to a lower value at middle and far distance ranges using an optimized rate control algorithm, preemptively trades off a lower throughput limit for a higher link budget. This higher link budget provides longer range and higher RF link reliability by using an N×N spatial diversity of MIMO RF channels for maximizing link budget instead of network throughput.
