  • Patent number: 11909607
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for addressing issues caused by interruptions that may occur while operating under the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) 35.1 standard. A method, according to one implementation, includes obtaining PM data during a current Measurement Interval of an ongoing PM session in accordance with MEF 35.1. The PM data can be locally stored as a current dataset and reported at the end of the current Measurement Interval for storage in a history database. Following an interruption event that interrupts at least the current Measurement Interval, the method detects a recommencement event that clears the interruption event and allows a PM session to resume. The method further includes determining a number of Measurement Intervals affected by the interruption event based on an end time of a last-reported Measurement Interval and then inserting the number of affected Measurement Intervals into the history database after the last-reported Measurement Interval.

The method includes autonomously operate a robotic structure to move an item along a predetermined path from a source location to a destination location, and autonomously operating the robotic structure to place the item at the destination location based at least in part on the plan. The item comprises one or more identifiers, and in response to a determination that at least one of the one or more identifiers was not obtained by one or more sensors, an active measure is performed to cause the one or more sensors to obtain the at least one identifier that was not obtained. The predetermined path corresponds to a path along which the item is moved from the source location to the destination location. The predetermined path is planned so that the item is moved within a threshold range of the one or more sensors while the item is moved along the predetermined path.

Abstract: An apparatus for wireless communication of a UE determines to transmit data in a set of RBs to at least one other UE in at least one subframe. The at least one subframe includes a first subset of symbols configured for use for transmission collision avoidance signaling and a second subset of symbols configured for transmitting the data. The apparatus determines a subset of symbols of the first set of symbols within the set of RBs of the at least one subframe for transmitting at least one concatenated sequence. The apparatus transmits the at least one concatenated sequence in each symbol of the determined subset of symbols within the set of RBs of the at least one subframe to indicate that the data will be transmitted in the second set of symbols within the set of RBs of the at least one subframe.

  • Patent number: 11907811
Abstract: An optical reservoir computing (ORC) system has a near-UV light emitting diode modulator (LED-M), a beam expander (BE), a fluorescer array (FA), an optical integrator (OA), a liquid crystal spatial light modulator (LC-SLM), and a photo-detector array (PDA). The LED-M receives an input electrical signal and outputs an optical signal passing through the BE, being made incident upon the FA, being processed in the OA, and being multiplexed onto the LC-SLM. “Non-Linearity” is introduced by overlapping responses to input signals by the FA. “High Dimensionality” is provided by the random but fixed time-wavelength multiplexing onto an imaging plane by a Fresnel-Kohler Integrator (FKI). “Fading Memory” is provided by different decay time constants of the fluorescers. A method of using the ORC system comprises the steps of minimizing an error function of difference between a measured state of the PDA and a target state of the PDA by a regression model.

  • Patent number: 11907495
Abstract: One or more processors of an electronic device detect a communication device electronically in communication with a content presentation companion device operating as a primary display for the electronic device and including a first ultra-wideband component. The one or more processors determine, with a second ultra-wide component carried by the electronic device, a distance between the electronic device and the content presentation companion device using an ultra-wideband ranging process. The one or more processors then dynamically enhance a user interface of the content presentation companion device as a function of the distance between the electronic device and the content presentation companion device. The enhancing adjusts a user interface feature being presented on the content presentation companion device.

  • Patent number: 11910413
Abstract: Wireless communication devices, systems, and methods relate to selecting transmission parameters that optimize a dimension (e.g., time, frequency, and/or spatial) under a set of constraints. A UE may receive a resource allocation mode indication and a traffic parameter indication from a BS. The resource allocation mode indication informs the UE to optimize along a time dimension, a frequency dimension, and/or a spatial domain. The traffic parameter indication informs the UE what constraints to consider for the transmission parameters. The UE may use this information upon receipt of a reference signal in selecting transmission parameters based on the received reference signal, resource allocation mode indication, and traffic parameter indication. The resource allocation mode may correspond to optimization within a single slot or across multiple slots. Once selected, the UE may transmit the transmission parameters to the BS for use in sending the message to the UE.

  • Patent number: 11907630
Abstract: A method is provided for performing power validation on an integrated circuit (IC) design based on a power assertion specification. The method includes receiving the power assertion specification for the IC design, where the power assertion specification includes a predicted power consumption. Power consumption of the IC design is estimated according to power assertions specified in the power assertion specification. The estimated power consumption is compared against the predicted power consumption included in the power assertion specification. The IC design is determined to be associated with a power assertion failure based on results of the comparing. In response to determining that the IC design is associated with the power assertion failure, the IC design is refined to remedy the power assertion failure.

  • Patent number: 11910343
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for S-SSB transmission are provided. In an aspect, an S-SSS symbol is followed by a gap symbol. In another aspect, a first PSBCH symbol is followed by an S-SSS symbol. In a further aspect, the same MPR is used for the entire S-SSB, thus reducing/mitigating transient periods. For example, the S-SSS symbols in the S-SSB may be selected from a set of sequences having the same MPR as the S-PSS symbols. Alternatively, the MPR of the entire S-SSB may be selected based on a sequence ID of an S-SSS. In an aspect, additional symbols may be configured in the S-SSB to compensate for power reduction.

  • Patent number: 11907860
Abstract: Targeted acquisition of data for model training includes automatically generating metadata describing samples, of an initial dataset, in neighborhoods of an embedding space in which the samples are embedded. The samples described by the automatically generated metadata are classified by a classification model, and include both correctly classified samples in the neighborhoods and incorrectly classified samples in the neighborhoods. Additionally, attributes of one or more correctly classified samples of the collection of samples and one or more incorrectly classified samples of the collection of samples are identified, and queries are generated based on the identified attributes, the queries tailored, based on the attributes, to retrieve additional training data for training the classification model to more accurately classify samples and avoid incorrect sample classification.

  • Patent number: 11909646
Abstract: A congested network link is identified. Applications that are contributing to the congestion are also identified. The contribution of each of the identified applications to the congestion is then determined in order to determine whether the application's usage of the network should be throttled. A control signal is generated in order to indicate to the application that it is to perform an application-specific throttling operation to reduce the network bandwidth consumed by the application. If the application-specific throttling does not sufficiently reduce network congestion, a more aggressive throttling operation is performed.
