  • Publication number: 20240047592
Abstract: Two-dimensional (2D) crystals have renewed opportunities in artificial lattice design and assembly without the constraints of epitaxy. However, the lack of thickness control in exfoliated van der Waals (vdW) layers prevents realization of repeat units with high fidelity. Uniform, wafer-scale samples permits engineering of both electronic and optical dispersions in stacks of disparate 2D layers with multiple repeating units. Systems, methods, and devices present optical dispersion engineering in a superlattice structure including alternating layers of 2D excitonic chalcogenides and dielectric insulators. Examples demonstrate >90% narrowband absorption in <4 nm active layer excitonic absorber medium at room temperature, concurrently with enhanced photoluminescence in cm2 samples. These superlattices show evidence of strong light-matter coupling and exciton-polariton formation with geometry-tunable coupling constants.

  • Publication number: 20240045066
Abstract: A method transmits a first optical beam towards targets within a field of view (FOV). The first optical beam is modulated at a first chirp rate for a first set of scan lines that correspond to a first distance of the targets. The method identifies conditions based on the FOV to calculate a second chirp rate, and generates a scan pattern by transmitting a second optical beam towards the targets within the FOV. The second optical beam is modulated at the second chirp rate for a second set of scan lines that corresponds to a second distance of the one or more targets. The method generates, based on the first and second optical beams, the point cloud that includes multiple data points related to the target in which some of the data points are related to a first target and other data points are related to a second target.

  • Publication number: 20240048614
Abstract: Certain embodiments disclosed herein reduce or eliminate a communication bottleneck at the storage manager by reducing communication with the storage manager while maintaining functionality of an information management system. In some implementations, a client obtains information for enabling a secondary storage job (e.g., a backup or restore) from a storage manager and stores the information (which may be referred to as job metadata) in a local cache. The client may then reuse the job metadata for multiple storage jobs reducing the frequency of communication with the storage manager. When a configuration of the information management system changes, or the availability of resources changes, the storage manager can push updates to the job metadata to the clients. Further, a client can periodically request updated job metadata from the storage manager ensuring that the client does not rely on out-of-date job metadata.

  • Publication number: 20240045864
Abstract: A computerized method for implementing a matching platform for entities includes a real-time processing layer using real-time linking on an input data stream, and a high-throughput layer linking entities from a batch data source stream. The real-time linking results are stored in a state change store and the high-throughput linking results are stored in a state store. On-demand linking uses the state change store and the state store. A lambda switch ensures that the entity states remain consistent when the on-demand linking switches from an older generation of the state store and the stage change store to a newer generation of the state store and the state change store. These stores are implemented in an entity database that parses queries into instructions and creates an instruction stream to control entity matching.

  • Publication number: 20240045862
Abstract: Systems and methods for data reporting using a data aggregator and a data retrieval tool such as a file intelligence service. The data aggregator stores two sets of data reporting tables and designates a first one of the sets of tables as an active set and the second one of the sets as a non-active set. The active set of tables stores data corresponding to a most recently successfully completed search. The non-active set stores data retrieved by the data retrieval tool from disparate data sources according to current search. The data in the active set of tables is immediately available for use in requested reports. When the data aggregator completes the current search, it designates the non-active set of tables as the active set so that the data therein becomes available for use in requested reports.
