  • Publication number: 20240022472
Abstract: Systems and methods provide automated, lightweight, and centralized implementations for distributing and securely managing the lifecycle of containerized third-party applications on a cluster of network switches that typically have relatively limited computing resources. The deployed containerized applications may be seamlessly updated and expanded separately from the host network operating system without the complexities involved in a registry infrastructure, such as Kubernetes, Docker, or similar container orchestration platform, without compromising security, and without interfering with the common switching functions and switching protocols of switches in the cluster.

  • Publication number: 20240022253
Abstract: There is provided a method for generating a select signal for a multiplexer of a Multiplying Delay Locked Loop (MDLL). The method includes determining that an output of a divider of the MDLL is a high level, determining that an output signal of a multiplexed voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) of the MDLL is a falling edge after the output of the divider is the high level and inserting a select signal as a select input to the multiplexer at the falling edge of the output signal of the multiplexed VCO in response to determining that the output of the divider has achieved the high level.

  • Publication number: 20240020079
Abstract: A modular server chassis enclosure controller (EC) on-premises keyboard video and mouse module has an EC frame buffer memory and an EC virtual network computing (libvnc) client process. The libvnc fetches an EC frame buffer memory address, displays an on-screen display (OSD) screen to a user and accepts user selection of a blade server deployed in the modular server chassis from the OSD. The libvnc receives a virtual network computing (VNC) streaming session over transport layer security, from a VNC computing server process of the selected blade server. The libvnc determines whether the VNC server process has data to send and, if it does, reads graphics data from the virtual network computing server process and writes the graphics data from the VNC server to the EC frame buffer memory address. The graphics data is displayed on an on-premises monitor coupled to the modular server chassis from the EC frame buffer.

  • Publication number: 20240020059
Abstract: Systems and methods utilize discovery log entry identifiers (DLEIDs) to identify individual discovery log page entries (DLPEs) in a discovery log page, for example, to allow a name server to manipulate DLPEs and perform specific operations, including zoning operations. Thus, DLEIDs advantageously reduce data flow and repetitive full discovery log page requests and responses and associated processing times; especially, in scenarios where changes to data are minimal. Further, a DLEID-based get log page command may be used to perform push and pull registrations, e.g., to query a specific set of end devices. Advantageously, this reduces messages size and, thus, the number of messages that need to be exchanged, e.g., during an addition or deletion of end devices, especially in larger environments.

  • Publication number: 20240023197
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to discontinuous reception (DRX) transmission. Embodiments of the present disclosure propose a solution for DRX configurations for point-to-point (PTP) and/or point-to-multipoint (PTM) transmissions. In this solution, a user equipment (UE) maintains separate DRX configurations for PTP transmissions and PTM transmissions. During active time for the PTP transmissions, the UE monitors physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) with a UE specific identifier. The UE monitors PDCCH with a PTM transmission specific identifier during active time for the PTM transmissions. In this way, it can match the MBS service quality mechanism. Moreover, it also saves power at the UE.

  • Publication number: 20240021385
Abstract: A pressure-actuated switch having a pressure port, a diaphragm, a range spring, an actuator plate, a differential plate, and an electrical switch. A certain pressure level moves the diaphragm against the range spring at the pressure port and thus deflects the actuator plate. The actuator plate is coupled to the electrical switch via a snap spring, wherein the electrical switch can be switched on or off via the deflection of the actuator plate and the snap spring. The differential plate controlled by a differential spring is connected to the actuator plate and supports the actuator plate in a first portion of movement, wherein the differential plate is decoupled from the actuator plate in a second portion of movement of the actuator plate.

  • Publication number: 20240020479
Abstract: A cloud platform trains a machine-learned entity matching model that generates predictions on whether a pair of electronic records refer to a same entity. In one embodiment, the entity matching model is configured as a transformer architecture. In one instance, the entity matching model is trained using a combination of a first loss and a second loss. The first loss indicates a difference between an entity matching prediction for a training instance and a respective match label for the training instance. The second loss indicates a difference between a set of named-entity recognition (NER) predictions for the training instance and the set of NER labels for the tokens of the training instance.

  • Publication number: 20240020000
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and system for tuning a memory device for high-speed transitions. Upon failure of bus sampling tuning of a memory device with default tuning parameters, the host device is configured to transmit an auto-tuning request to the memory device for until one or more pre-defined conditions are satisfied. The memory device is configured to receive the auto-tuning request from the host device, selects a set of tuning parameters from a plurality of sets of tuning parameters, and transmits a tuning block to the host device based on the selected set of tuning parameters, until one or more pre-defined conditions are satisfied. Thereby, the memory device can utilize high-speed mode and high-speed transitions can be achieved between host and memory devices. Thus, initialization failure of the memory device can also be avoided.

  • Publication number: 20240019033
Abstract: A pinch valve configured to be combined with an inversion apparatus. An elongated component, such as a rope, cable, or light train, is able to pass through the lumen of the pinch valve during the positioning and curing of a repair assembly into an underground pipe system. A deformable member positioned within the housing is movable between a first position having a first internal diameter and a second position having a second internal diameter that is smaller than the first internal diameter. In the second position the deformable member is moved to constrict around the elongated component as the component passes through the valve. This helps prevent pressure from escaping through the pinch valve by decreasing the space between the deformable member and the elongated component. In this manner, the internal diameter of the pinch valve is able to conform to various diameters of elongated components passing through the valve in real time by moving the deformable member to create the desired internal diameter.

Abstract: In various examples, methods may include receiving first data transmitted from a second component and second data transmitted from the second component during a first time period. The first data may be transmitted via a first data lane and the second data may be transmitted via a second data lane. The method may include receiving de-skew symbols at an interval from the second component via the first data lane and via the second data lane during the first time period. The method may include compensating for a first skew introduced to a first propagation of the first data across the first data lane and a second skew introduced to a second propagation of the second data across the second data lane using the de-skew symbols received during the first time period.
