  • Publication number: 20230377228
Abstract: A computing device receives a first user input that includes user selection of a first data field of a data source from a schema information region of a user interface and placement of the first data field into a data visualization region of the user interface. When the first data field corresponds to a geographic data field, the computing device determines longitude and latitude information for data values of the first data field. The computing device generates a map data visualization corresponding to the first data field according to the determined longitude and latitude information. The map data visualization includes a first layer having a first set of data marks corresponding to the first data field. The computing device displays, in the data visualization region, the map data visualization including the first set of data marks.

  • Publication number: 20230377265
Abstract: In implementations of systems for efficiently rendering vector objects, a computing device implements a rendering system to identify unique geometries from a set of geometries of vector objects included in a render tree. The rendering system tessellates the unique geometries and each of the tessellated unique geometries has a unique identifier. Mappings are generated between the vector objects included in the render tree and the tessellated unique geometries using the unique identifiers. The rendering system renders the vector objects included in the render tree for display in a user interface based on the mappings.

  • Publication number: 20230376803
Abstract: A system receives identification of a machine learning model, stored by a vehicle, that is ready for training. The system determines, based on a configuration file associated with the model, whether batch-based or live training is to be used to train the model and collects data for training, defined by a configuration file associated with the model. The system calls a learning as a service vehicle process to load a kernel and configures the kernel based on configuration data defined in the configuration file. The system receives notification from the learning as a service process that the training is complete. Additionally, the system validates a model, responsive to the notification including indication that training was successful, using a vehicle model validation process to test the model with live data before deployment by background execution of the model and saves a copy of the model for deployment responsive to successful validation.

  • Publication number: 20230376218
Abstract: In response to a power-loss warning event occurring during data processing, a checkpointing process is performed to save a checkpoint of context data associated with the data processing to non-volatile data storage. In response to detection of a power recovery event occurring when the checkpointing process is still in progress, it is determined whether a checkpoint abort condition is satisfied, based at least on a checkpoint progress indication indicative of progress of the checkpointing process. If the checkpoint abort condition is unsatisfied, the checkpointing process can continue. If the checkpoint abort condition is satisfied, the checkpointing process is aborted to allow the data processing to resume.

  • Publication number: 20230376781
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to systems and methods for autonomous task composition of vision pipelines using an algorithm selection framework. The framework leverages transformer architecture along with deep reinforcement learning techniques to search an algorithmic space for unseen solution templates. In an embodiment, the present disclosure describes a two stage process of identifying the vision pipeline for a particular task. At first stage, a high-level sequence of the vision pipeline is provided by a symbolic planner to create the vision workflow. At second stage, suitable algorithms for each high-level task are selected. This is achieved by performing a graph search using a transformer architecture over an algorithmic space on each component of generated workflow. In order to make the system more robust, weights of embedding, key and query networks of a visual transformer are updated with a Deep Reinforcement Learning framework that uses Proximal Policy Optimization (PPO) as underlying algorithm.

  • Publication number: 20230379269
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for orchestrating data center resources and user access to data. In some examples, a system can determine, at a first time, that a user will need, at a second time, access to data stored at a first location, from a second location. The system can identify a node which is capable of storing the data and accessible by a device from the second location. The system can also determine a first service parameter associated with a network connection between the device and the first location and a second service parameter associated with a network connection between the device and the node. When the second service parameter has a higher quality than the first service parameter, the system can migrate the data from the first location to the node so the device has access to the data from the second location through the node.
