  • Patent number: 11825237
Abstract: A method allows a receiving device to control aspects of an image stream transmitting (IST) device. The method includes receiving a segmented video stream from the IST device during a video communication session. The segmented video stream includes a primary segment and a secondary segment presenting a virtual control interface. The method includes presenting, on a display device, a control enabling view of the segmented video stream and monitoring for movement, captured by at least one image capturing device, that is indicative of the input occurring within a spatial location proximate to the selectable feature. The method includes in response to detecting the input, identifying a function associated with the selectable feature and activating the function to affect one or more characteristics of a video image presented within the primary segment.

  • Patent number: 11823217
Abstract: A segmentation system utilizes a supervised learning method and a clustering analysis to identify clusters, thereby segmenting a population into groups, where the clusters are associated with various conversion potentials that indicate the probability of an event. The segmentation system employs the supervised learning method to train a model on training data comprising historical conversion data and features associated with members of the group. A subset of features is selected from a ranked order that is determined using weights generated by the supervised learning. A clustering analysis is performed for a population with respect to the subset to generate clusters. A superior cluster is identified based on it having a conversion potential greater than a conversion potential of another cluster. In a marketing context, the system can be employed to identify a superior cluster of users that have a higher conversion potential in response to an advertisement campaign.

  • Patent number: 11825344
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may perform a measurement operation to attain multiple measurements to report to a base station. The measurements may correspond to a first number of bits if reported. The UE may compress the measurements using an encoder neural network (NN) to obtain an encoder output indicating the measurements. This encoder output may include a second number of bits that is less than the first number of bits. The UE may report the encoder output to the base station in this compressed form. At the base station, the encoder output may be decompressed according to a decoder NN. Once the base station decompresses the encoder output, the UE and base station may communicate according to the measurements determined from the decompression. In some cases, the base station may perform load redistribution based on the measurements.

  • Patent number: 11825162
Abstract: Provided is a system that includes a circuit to generate an interactive item based on a request received from a first distribution network or a second distribution network. The interactive item is overlaid over a media item present in media content. The circuit then activates the generated interactive item overlaid over the media item of the media content. Further, the circuit receives an event trigger, from a client application engine operational on a user device associated with a user, for a selection of the activated interactive item. A personalized list is generated for the event trigger for the selection of the interactive item. Further, the generated personalized list is transmitted for a display for a defined time duration, to one of the first distribution network, the second distribution network or the client application engine operational on the user device.

  • Patent number: 11824780
Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, and software to manage the selection of an edge gateway or edge for processing a packet. In one implementation, a first edge may receive a packet and hash addressing information in the packet to select a second edge to process the packet. The first edge may further forward the packet to the second edge, permitting the second edge to process the packet. Once processed, the second edge may forward the packet to a destination host computing system and notify the host computing system to use the second edge for response packets directed at a source internet protocol (IP) address in the packet.

  • Patent number: 11823678
Abstract: Techniques for determining a command or intent likely to be subsequently invoked by a user of a system are described. A user inputs a command (either via a spoken utterance or textual input) to a system. The system determines content responsive to the command. The system also determines a second command or corresponding intent likely to be invoked by the user subsequent to the previous command. Such determination may involve analyzing pairs of intents, with each pair being associated with a probability that one intent of the pair will be invoked by a user subsequent to a second intent of the pair. The system then outputs first content responsive to the first command and second content soliciting the user as to whether the system to execute the second command.

  • Patent number: 11822470
Abstract: An API reader reads a system application's API specification file and creates a root.yml file containing key:value pairs, in which the keys are objects, and the values are staging_object.yml files. Each staging_object.yml file includes a set of entries, with each entry including a REST operation, a REST endpoint, and a description of the operation to be performed using that entry. An intelligent API converter creates structured object.yml files based on corresponding unstructured staging_object.yml files, and replaces the staging_object.yml files of the root.yml file with the newly created object.yml files. Each object.yml file includes a plurality of entries, corresponding to the entries of the respective staging_object.yml file. Each entry of the object.yml file includes an OPERATION, a JSON payload, and a VALIDATION section. An API builder uses the root.yml file to build a REST API for the system under test which is used to automate testing of the application.

  • Patent number: 11823421
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer program product provide for compression of volumetric video in a manner that is more efficient and requires less metadata updates. A method can include converting a volumetric video scene into a canonical representation comprising a plurality of frames comprising a video atlas and corresponding metadata. Each frame can be divided into a plurality of tiles based on different tile characteristics, which can be used to analyze and characterize the different tiles for atlas packing purposes. Tiles can be clipped or merged or otherwise edited in the atlas. Tiles can be decomposed to metadata suitable for later rendering of the tile. Tiles having a similar enough color attribute or depth attribute during the entire group of photos can be rendered as a single instance, clipped entirely, and rendered based upon a reference tile and the stored metadata.

  • Patent number: 11822584
Abstract: A method generates data visualizations. A device receives a first user input to specify a natural language command directed to a data source. The natural language command includes a first keyword that is a gradable adjective that modifies a second keyword in the natural language command. The device identifies a numerical data field, from the data source, whose field name co-occurs with the first keyword in natural language utterances in a predefined stored corpus of natural language utterances, based on quantifying co-occurrence using a co-occurrence metric. The device computes a numerical range for values of the numerical data field based on correlation of sentiment polarity of the first keyword and the field name of the numerical data field. The device then generates a data visualization for the data source, based on filtering rows of data from the data source according to the numerical range for the numerical data field.
