Abstract: An electronic device includes a housing defining a through hole, a circuit board fixed in the housing, including a switch and a grounding portion connecting with the ground, a fastening member received in the through hole fixed on the housing and contacting the grounding portion, passing static electricity therethrough and defining a mounting hole, and an actuating member received in the mounting hole and contacting the fastening member, and pressing the switch when actuated; wherein the fastening member and the actuating member are conductive.

Abstract: A flip-type electronic apparatus includes a base panel, a cover, and a latch mechanism pivotably fastening the cover to the base panel. At least one post extends from the cover into the base panel. The latch mechanism includes a button mounted on the base panel, and a sliding bar received in the base panel. At least one limiting portion is formed on one lateral side of the sliding bar receiving the post of the cover. The sliding bar forms a pair of inclined operating surfaces, and the button forms at least one inclined actuating surface abutting at least one of the pair of inclined operating surface. When the button is pressed, the actuating surfaces pushes the operating surfaces to cause the sliding bar to move away from the button, and thus the post is released from the limiting portion for opening the cover of the electronic apparatus.

Abstract: A flat panel display includes a screen, a printed circuit board, a signal cable, and a frame. The frame includes a lower case, an upper case, and two fastening arms. The upper case cooperatively joins with the lower case to receive the screen, the printed circuit board, and the signal cable. The two fastening arms fix two adjacent corners of the screen onto the upper case. The printed circuit board controls display of the screen via the signal cable.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a shell defining a space and an opening therein. A fixing pole extends into the space from an inner surface of the shell adjacent to the opening. A circuit board is received in the space, and defines a through hole corresponding to the fixing pole. A push button is arranged in the shell, and includes a button body extending into the opening of the shell and being exposed to the outside, a fixing member, and a connecting member interconnecting the fixing member and the button body. The fixing member defines a fixing hole receiving the fixing pole therein. Two opposite sides of the fixing member abut against an inner surface of the shell and the circuit board, respectively. A locking member extends through the through hole and the fixing hole into the fixing pole to assemble the circuit board, the push button to the shell.

The method includes establishing a permanent virtual circuit between customer premises equipment and a digital subscriber line access multiplexer. The method further includes embedding information for a permanent virtual connection between a switch and a remote node in a packet transmitted over a static connection in a network. Finally, the method includes establishing a permanent virtual circuit between the switch and the remote node based on the embedded information.
