When a next generation Node B (gNB) cannot successfully receive or decode data transmitted by the UE, the UE will receive a dynamic grant (DG) signal transmitted by the gNB. When the UE can receive the DG signal, the UE will start a configured grant (CG) timer and count a CG counter, and the UE will calculate a CG weight. The UE determines communication quality between the UE and the gNB according to the CG weight. When the CG weight is greater than a CG threshold, the UE determines communication quality is bad, and switches to a CG transmission mode to increase reliability for transmitting the data. Therefore, spectrum usage efficiency in the UCEs can be improved.

The low priority preamble sets have a strict partial order relationship therebetween. The high priority preamble set and the highest-order low priority preamble set are independent from each other. When requiring random access from a base station, the wireless device randomly selects a preamble from the low priority preamble sets to transmit a random access request message to the base station by using the selected preamble. When the request for random access fails, the wireless device with low priority randomly reselects a preamble from the higher-order low priority preamble set, and the wireless device with high priority randomly reselects a preamble from the high priority preamble set.

The wireless device receives a system message carrying a random access success rate from a base station, and divides the preambles into N preamble subsets according to the random access success rate. The N preamble subsets have a strict partial order relationship therebetween. The union of the N preamble subsets consists of the preambles. When requesting random access from the base station, the wireless device randomly selects a preamble from the smallest preamble subset. When a preamble collision occurs, the wireless device reselects a preamble from the larger preamble subset gradually for the random access.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a power saving device with power supply, comprising a charger power circuit, a receptacle, a plug detection unit, an ON/OFF control circuit and a power output enable circuit. The plug detection unit uses a mechanical or electrical detection apparatus to detect whether a plug-in device is inserted or not. When there is no plug-in device in the receptacle, the power output enable circuit will cut off the power to the charger power circuit. So the power consumption of the power saving device is reduced while no plug-in device is inserted into the receptacle.
