The control method for a motor of an electronic brake includes: a stop mode-starting step of starting a stop mode when a vehicle is stopped by a brake; an electrical angle-measuring step of measuring an electrical angle of a motor providing pressure to the brake in the stop mode; an electrical angle-calculating step of calculating a changed electrical angle using a predetermined electrical angle change and the electrical angle of the motor measured in the electrical angle-measuring step; and a motor-controlling step of controlling a current flowing to the motor in accordance with the changed electrical angle. Therefore, it is possible to keep a vehicle stopped, prevent a high current from flowing at any one phase of the motor, and prevent the motor from burning.
