  • Publication number: 20070246384
Abstract: A golf bag structure has a base, a post, a top frame, two leg assemblies and a cord. The base has a pivot bracket attached pivotally to the base and a cord guide. The post is attached to the pivot bracket. The top frame is attached to the post and has a divider and a cord passage defined through the divider. The leg assemblies are attached to the top frame, and each leg assembly has a pivot mount and a leg. The pivot mount is attached pivotally to the top frame. The leg is attached to the pivot mount. The cord extends through the cord guide and the cord passage in the top frame and is connected to the base and the pivot mounts of the leg assemblies. The leg assemblies keep articles such as golf clubs in the golf bag from falling out.

  • Publication number: 20060278768
Abstract: A golf bag frame and an outer covering form a golf bag, and the golf bag frame has a base, multiple posts, a top frame and a leg assembly. The base has a bottom frame and foot attached pivotally to the bottom frame. The posts are attached to the bottom frame. The top frame is attached to the posts. The leg assembly is attached to the top frame and has a bracket, a pivot rod, a cord and two legs. The bracket is attached to the top frame. The pivot rod extends rotatably through the bracket, has two ends and comprises an activating lever and two springs. The activating lever is connected to the pivot rod. The springs mount around and bias the pivot rod. The cord is connected to the foot and the activating lever. The legs attach respectively to ends of the pivot rod and extend away from the body when the foot is pivoted to an inclined position.

  • Publication number: 20060118440
Abstract: An adjustable divider apparatus for a golf bag has a partitioning frame, a divider assembly and multiple fasteners. The partitioning frame has an annular inner and outer surface. The divider assembly has two cross dividers mounted on the annular inner surface and each cross divider has multiple mounting holes. The fasteners are mounted detachably into the mounting holes. The elastic cord cooperates with the partitioning frame and the divider assembly to define several sub spaces inside the frame. The golf clubs can respectively extend through the sub spaces according the types of the golf clubs so a golfer can choose a specific golf club conveniently. When the golf bag is being moved, the cord sections restrict the movement of the golf clubs with the elastic forces to prevent the golf clubs shaking and colliding with each other. Therefore, the durability of the golf clubs is improved.

  • Patent number: 5829720
Abstract: A supporting device for a golf bag stand includes a supporting plate, a tubular receiver integrally formed with the supporting plate and a bottom plate having a concavity defined therein. The concavity is sized and configured to mate with the struting plate, such that the struting plate is able to be snugly received within the concave space. Furthermore, a first channel is defined within the struting plate and a second channel is defined within the bottom plate, such that when the supporting plate is received within the concavity of the bottom plate, a pin is able to pivotally combine the bottom plate and the supporting plate through the second channel and the first channel respectively, which provides the golf bag an ability to adjust to any terrain when the golf bag is held in a substantially upright position.

  • Patent number: 5788071
Abstract: An internal racing device for a golf bag includes a socket integrally formed within the golf bag and constructed to have a centrally defined hole, a pair of stops each opposingly formed on an upper periphery thereof, and a pair of recesses each defined adjacent to a respective stop and a tubular seat constructed to have a pair of wings each opposingly formed on an upper periphery thereof and a flange integrally formed with a base thereof, so that after a distal tip of one of a plurality of struts is inserted into a first hole defined within an upper frame of the bag, the other distal tip of the strut is able to be retained within the tubular seat when the wings of the tubular seat is securely rested within the recesses and stopped by the stops of the socket.
