    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) can connect to a base station of a telecommunication network by sending a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection request to the base station. When the UE engages in a virtual reality (VR) application, augmented reality (AR) application, or any other Extended Reality (XR) application via the telecommunication network, the UE can indicate a XR establishment cause within an RRC connection request sent to a base station. The base station can determine, based on the XR establishment cause in the RRC connection request, that the UE will be engaging in an XR application, and can set up bearers and/or otherwise allocate resources for an RRC connection that are associated with latency goals, throughput goals, and/or other target goals associated with XR applications.

Using a large language model (LLM), a first Structured Query Language (SQL) statement is generated based on a user query provided by a user. A plurality of entities are extracted, based on the first SQL statement, including columns, filter columns, and categorical filters. A semantic search is performed on an index of a plurality of databases using the extracted entities to determine a confidence score for each database of the plurality of databases. A database is selected based on the confidence score and a schema of the selected database is extracted. A second SQL statement is generated by the LLM based on the user query and the schema. The second SQL statement is executed on the selected database to generate query results that are presented to the user.

    Abstract: Solutions are disclosed that provide intelligent adaptive measurement gaps for low mobility user equipment (UEs), such as home internet access points. Because low mobility (stationary use) UE do not move, or move only infrequently, the frequency for of handovers to neighboring cells is reduced, lowering the urgency of measuring signal reception from neighboring cells. A wireless network determines that a first UE is associated with a stationary use, and that a second UE is not. The network transmits a first radio resource control (RRC) message specifying a measurement gap repetition period (MGRP) and an indication to skip at least one measurement gap, to the first UE, and transmits a second RRC message specifying the MGRP, without an indication to skip a measurement gap, to the second UE. In some examples, the MGRP is indicated as having one of four values: 20 milliseconds (ms), 40 ms, 80 ms, and 160 ms.

When a small data payload is available for an MT UE, a base station of the telecommunication network can send a paging message to the UE that includes a Mobile Terminating Small Data Transmission (MT-SDT) paging cause. Based on the MT-SDT paging cause in the paging message, the UE can use Small Data Transmission (SDT) procedures to respond to the paging message. The SDT procedures can allow the UE to obtain the small data payload while the UE remains in a Radio Resource Control (RRC) Inactive state.

    Abstract: Techniques for intelligently setting a query timer value are described herein. For example, when a user equipment (UE) is connected to a visited public land mobile network (VPLMN) (e.g., when the UE is roaming), the UE can determine a distance metric based on the location of the UE’s home public land mobile network (HPLMN) and the VPLMN and/or based on other factors to determine a query timer value. In some examples, the UE can input data to a machine learned model to determine the query timer value. The UE can initiate a querying application based on the query timer value to search for the HPLMN or more preferred VPLMNs. Determining a query timer value in this manner can minimize such querying application and can reduce battery usage for a UE.

The processed data is organized into a star schema data structure comprising a fact structure and associated dimension structures. Features are generated from the data structure based on time windows, incorporating statistical metrics and identified patterns. These features are provided to a machine learning module to train a second machine learning model, improving accuracy and adaptability for applications such as customer behavior prediction and financial analysis.

    Abstract: The technology is directed to a system that allocates a frequency band to a satellite within a non-terrestrial network (NTN) and determines the available channel bandwidth for data transmissions within that frequency band. If the satellite detects an absence of a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection between the satellite and at least one terminal device within the geographical location, which indicates a lack of active communication with the terminal devices, the satellite responds by transmitting signals at a reduced transmit power and within a portion of the available channel bandwidth towards the geographical location. The RRC connection can be managed by an RRC protocol.
