    Abstract: A server for managing streams in a live streaming platform, comprising one or a plurality of processors, wherein the one or plurality of processors execute a machine-readable instruction to perform: receiving a first stream from a user terminal of a user; determining whether the first stream satisfied a first category; and adding the first stream into the first category in response to the first stream matching the first category. According to the embodiments, it is easier to generate and maintain the category of the stream. Moreover, the category of streams may be added, updated, modified or removed dynamically without complicated procedure. Therefore, the quality of streams in the live streaming platform may be improved.

The processor is configured to determine that the user equipment previously operated in a single connectivity mode using a carrier aggregation of two or more carriers in the first frequency range associated with the device and transmit a message to the user equipment to reconfigure the user equipment to use the carrier aggregation of two or more carriers in the first frequency range.

    Abstract: Techniques for intelligently setting a query timer value are described herein. For example, when a user equipment (UE) is connected to a visited public land mobile network (VPLMN) (e.g., when the UE is roaming), the UE can determine a distance metric based on the location of the UE's home public land mobile network (HPLMN) and the VPLMN and/or based on other factors to determine a query timer value. In some examples, the UE can input data to a machine learned model to determine the query timer value. The UE can initiate a querying application based on the query timer value to search for the HPLMN or more preferred VPLMNs. Determining a query timer value in this manner can minimize such querying application and can reduce battery usage for a UE.

    Abstract: A method for implementing a magnetic confinement reaction is provided. An initial equilibrium configuration is constructed based on zero-dimensional parameters. The initial equilibrium configuration is subjected to iteration with a blanket, a divertor and a magnet to determine an equilibrium configuration of a reference equilibrium. A numerical simulation model of a plasma breakdown phase in a start-up process is established using a rigid conductor, and optimally solved to determine a maximum coil current. A phase after the breakdown is optimized into a quadratic programing problem to establish a performance function, which is solved using a preset constraint to determine a to-be-optimized parameter. The start-up process of the superconducting tokamak is completed according to the equilibrium configuration, the maximum coil current and the to-be-optimized parameter. A device and computer-readable storage medium for implementing magnetic confinement reaction are also provided.

    Abstract: An access network can allocate a bearer for a network service associated with a quality-of-service (QoS) value (QV) and a retention-priority value (RPV), and determine a bearer ID for the service based on the QV, the RPV, and a supplemental priority value (SPV) different from the QV and from the RPV. Upon handover of a terminal, session(s) carried by a bearer allocated by the terminal can be terminated. That bearer can be selected using IDs of the bearers and a comparison function that, given two bearer IDs, determines which respective bearer should be terminated before the other. Upon handover of a terminal to an access network supporting fewer bearers per terminal than the terminal has allocated, a network node can select a bearer based on respective QVs and RPVs of a set of allocated bearers. The network node can deallocate the selected bearer.

    Abstract: System and methods for smart cell selection and reselection are described. A mobile device may attempt to camp on a cell in a tracking area that has advertised a particular frequency band. If the mobile device is unable to recognize an information element identifying a different subset of the advertised frequency band than that supported by the mobile device, the mobile device will store a record of the tracking area and the advertised frequency band and compare future cell information broadcasts to the entry, avoiding attempts to operate within cells in the same tracking area advertising the same frequency. In this way the mobile device conserves resources by avoiding actions in incompatible cells and avoids storing information about many cells by only storing the tracking area information.

Based on the MT-SDT paging cause in the paging message, the UE can use Small Data Transmission (SDT) procedures to respond to the paging message. The SDT procedures can allow the UE to obtain the small data payload while the UE remains in a Radio Resource Control (RRC) Inactive state.

A plurality of complementary base machine learning models are used to generate initial inference results and associated measures of inference confidence from the dataset, which are collected as a meta dataset. Each of the complementary models is associated with a different part of the dataset in which it has a higher accuracy in that part than the other models. The meta dataset is provided as input to a meta machine learning model, which is trained to produce a final inference result, and a confidence score model, which is trained to produce a confidence score associated with the final inference result.

    Abstract: The system determines that an application running user equipment (UE) is requesting a throughput intensive communication over a network. The throughput intensive communication can require a predetermined downlink and uplink throughput. The system sends a first indication to the network, specifying to a base station of the network that the UE is requesting the throughput intensive communication. The base station determines whether it can provide the downlink throughput and the uplink throughput to the UE. Upon determining that the base station cannot provide the downlink or the uplink throughput to the UE, the base station sends a first message to the UE, indicating that the throughput intensive communication is of low quality. Upon receiving the first message, the UE waits for a predetermined criterion to be satisfied before attempting to engage in the throughput intensive communication, thereby reducing network traffic by eschewing sending repeated requests for the throughput intensive communication.

In this way, a vacuum vessel of a nuclear fusion reactor can be evaluated based on damage caused by the secondary stress.
