    Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for recycling heavy oil produced water for use in a steam injection boiler without desilication, comprising: the heavy oil produced water sequentially undergoes pre-treatment, filtration treatment and divalent and trivalent scaling ion removal by using a macroporous weak acid resin and the like. The method may reduce the concentration of the divalent and trivalent scaling ions in the heavy oil produced water to below 50 ?g/L, and can recycle high-silicon-containing heavy oil produced water for use in the steam injection boiler without desilication. Further disclosed is a system for recycling heavy oil produced water for use in a steam injection boiler without desilication.

    Abstract: A method for deep removal of divalent and trivalent scaling ions from heavy oil produced water is described. The method comprises performing divalent and trivalent scaling ion deep removal treatment on heavy oil produced water by using a macroporous weak acid resin, to reduce divalent and trivalent scaling ions in the heavy oil produced water to 50 ?g/L. The water quality of produced water treated using the method is superior to the boiler water standard, a silicon removal process in a conventional heavy oil produced water treatment process can be cancelled, and significant economic benefits are achieved.

    Abstract: Compositions and methods are provided for simple, instrument-free and sensitive methods that enable rapid, point-of-care detection of nucleic acid molecules of interest. This is based on a surprising discovery that the relative efficiencies of amplification and CRISPR-based cleavage and detection can be tuned to favor amplification until sufficient amplified products are generated to enable detection. Example approaches include design of guide RNA and primers to target nonoptimal PAM sequences, or sequence-engineering Cas nucleases to reduce activities informing a ribonucleoprotein with the guide RNA or binding to or cleaving the substrate nucleic acid.

    Abstract: A voice coil motor held immobile by magnetic attraction when not in use for photography purposes includes a base, a magnet fixed thereto, a carrier, a magnetic member, and a coil. The magnetic member is fixed to the carrier and is attracted by a permanent magnetic field (first MF) of the magnet on the base. The coil is fixed to the carrier and the magnetic member. When the voice coil motor is powered on, the coil generates a second magnetic field (second MF) opposing the first MF. The second MF reduces or eliminates the attractive force of the first MF of the magnet, to separate the carrier and its fittings and allow them to work freely. A lens module and an electronic device are further provided.
