  • Publication number: 20130238109
Abstract: A method is provided for inspecting a plurality of parts with an electronic measurement device and a processing system. The method includes a step of creating surface geometry maps of the parts utilizing the electronic measurement device, where each part was manufactured utilizing the manufacturing device. Geometric part models of the parts are generated from the surface geometry maps. The part models can subsequently be analyzed to determine whether a manufacturing device that manufactured the plurality of parts manufactures parts that comply with a part design specification.

  • Publication number: 20070162049
Abstract: Shoulder dystocia is an obstetric emergency. It is unpredictable and can occur with a large baby or a small baby. There are several maneuvers that can be applied to help prevent injury to the brachial plexus. But injury to the brachial plexus can still occur. A baby shoulder vacuum cup with a vacuum tube has a non-circular-shaped, preferably elongated or oval-shaped, bottom opening to fit onto the baby's shoulder to pull down or rotate the baby's shoulder instead of forcibly pulling on the baby's head to prevent injury to the brachial plexus. Various types of handles can be attached to the baby shoulder vacuum cup.

  • Publication number: 20070048064
Abstract: A highlight ink marker comprises an inner ink tube, an outer support tube, an automatic magnetic closure apparatus, a washer, a dumbbell-shaped spring coil and an olive-shaped spring ring. The automatic magnetic closure apparatus comprises of a magnet having a central canal to allow the passage of the small ink wick tube of the inner ink tube and a nonmetal block having a bottom hole and a concave hollow to contain a metal ball. The olive-shaped spring ring is installed in two slots of the top outer tube of the outer support tube to catch the top step of the inner ink tube to keep the marker open. The dumbbell-shaped spring coil surrounds the small ink wick tube and is placed in between the washer and the bottom step of the inner ink tube to push the inner ink tube outward.

  • Patent number: 7092567
Abstract: A method of post-processing character data from an optical character recognition (OCR) engine and apparatus to perform the method. This exemplary method includes segmenting the character data into a set of initial words. The set of initial words is word level processed to determine at least one candidate word corresponding to each initial word. The set of initial words is segmented into a set of sentences. Each sentence in the set of sentences includes a plurality of initial words and candidate words corresponding to the initial words. A sentence is selected from the set of sentences. The selected sentence is word disambiguity processed to determine a plurality of final words. A final word is selected from the at least one candidate word corresponding to a matching initial word. The plurality of final words is then assembled as post-processed OCR data.
