  • Patent number: 8965096
Abstract: A radiation therapy device controller identifies a pixel on a straight line connecting a ray source and a sensor array, and calculates a luminance update amount candidate value for each identified pixel based on a ratio of a change amount for the pixel on the straight line indicating the living body to a sum of change amounts from a luminance value of a pixel corresponding to a correlated computed tomography image correlated with a computed tomography image of an update target of a luminance value of the identified pixel. Also, the control device calculates a luminance update amount of each identified pixel using the luminance update amount candidate value of each identified pixel calculated for a plurality of rotation angles, and updates the luminance value of each corresponding pixel of the computed tomography image of the update target using the luminance update amount of each identified pixel.

  • Patent number: 8682414
Abstract: A radiation control method includes: calculating degrees of similarity corresponding to matching target areas; calculating a specific image position where a specific image area corresponding to a maximum value of the degrees of similarity out of the matching target areas is positioned in a radiographic image; and calculating a drive amount with which a therapeutic radiation ray irradiation device is driven, based on the specific image position. Further, calculating one degree of similarity corresponding to one matching target region out of the degrees of similarity includes: referring to a template table in which the matching target areas are associated with sets of templates to calculate a set of templates corresponding to the one matching target area out of the sets of templates; and detecting, from the set of templates, a similar template most similar to a matching target image displayed in the one matching target area of the radiographic image.

  • Publication number: 20130274539
Abstract: This radiation therapy device controller selects, for a plurality of body motion phases, computed tomography image data obtained which shows a diseased portion, and generates, for each rotation angles of a ray source and a sensor array, a reconstructed image. The control device generates a radiation projection image which shows the diseased portion when the radiation is radiated if the rotation angle is a predetermined rotation angle, compares the reconstructed image of each of the plurality of body motion phases with the radiation projection image, and determines a body motion phase indicated by a reconstructed image in which a difference is small, to be a current respiratory phase. As a result, a position of the diseased portion calculated for the computed tomography image data in the computed tomography image data group of the respiratory phase in advance is identified to be a current position of the diseased portion.

  • Patent number: 8367183
Abstract: The breadth and width of a sheet-like filler material before it is placed in a cell of a honeycomb material is set greater than those of the honeycomb material, and after the placement, peripheral edges of the honeycomb material are fringed with filler materials to prevent a filler material from falling out of an end section cell. A liquid adhesive agent is applied to the top of cell walls facing one surface of the honeycomb material, and a surface material is pressed to that surface of the honeycomb material to which the adhesive agent is applied. Then, before the adhesive agent hardens, water-absorbing foam materials are placed in cell spaces by pressing them into the cell spaces from the other surface of the honeycomb material until they are in contact with the adhesive agent. The foam material is quickly adhered to the honeycomb material.
