  • Patent number: 8017058
Abstract: A premixed material is obtained by tempering a castable refractory powder composition comprising refractory aggregate, fine refractory powder, alumina cement, a dispersing agent and an alumina cement hydration stopper with water. The hydration stopper is acidic in a state of an aqueous solution. The amount of the hydration stopper is controlled such that the premixed material has a pH of 2 to 7. Immediately after adding and mixing an alumina cement hydration starter to the premixed material, the resultant mixture is cast into a mold. The addition of the hydration starter can be carried out 5 days or more after the production of the premixed material.

  • Patent number: 7390677
Abstract: An immunoassay comprises the steps of: (a) mixing a whole blood sample with sensitized insoluble carrier particles smaller than erythrocytes to cause an immune agglutination reaction; (b) introducing the resulting immune agglutination reaction mixture including agglutinated particles and unagglutinated particles to a flow cell, irradiating the particles passing through the flow cell with laser light, and detecting scattered lights generated thereby; (c) setting a threshold value for distinguishing unagglutinated particles from agglutinated particles and a threshold value for distinguishing the agglutinated particles from blood cells with regard to intensity of the scattered light; and (d) distinguishing and counting the unagglutinated particles, the agglutinated particles and the blood cells from the scattered lights detected in the step (b), in reference to the threshold values set in the step (c).

  • Publication number: 20030111628
Abstract: An opening end of a concave portion of a bearing holder is crimped to prevent an outer race of a ball bearing from sliding rearwardly, so that a bearing stop cover in the prior art is not needed to stop the slide-out of the outer race. Thus, the number of parts and assembling procedures for an intake air controller are reduced, thereby reducing the manufacturing const thereof. Further, since the bearing stop cover is not needed, the axial length of the bearing holder of a throttle body is shortened, thereby axially compacting the throttle body.

  • Patent number: 6543417
Abstract: In an intake air control device, a valve gear for driving a shaft of a throttle valve is made of non-magnetic metal that does not interfere with a magnetic circuit constituted by split type permanent magnet and yoke. Accordingly, as the magnetic flux from the magnetic circuit is effectively used without leakage to the valve gear, an opening degree of the throttle valve is accurately detected by a non-contact type Hall element. Further, it is not necessary to reinforce with other metal a ring shaped fixing portion of the valve gear that is rigidly fixed to an end of the shaft by staking or welding and an outer protrusion of the valve gear that comes in hitting contact with a stopper of a throttle body when the throttle valve is fully closed, resulting in less number of component parts and lower cost.
