    Abstract: A communication device outside-connected incoming call indicator and an earphone device having such an incoming call indicator are provided. The earphone device with the incoming call indicator has a connector, which is used to connect to a communication device provided with an insertion hole, and receive the incoming call signal transmitted from the communication device; an incoming call indicator, which is used to receive the incoming call signal and send out an incoming call indication; and an earphone, which is used to receive and broadcast the voice signals transmitted from the communication device. A signal wire is used to connect the connector, the incoming call indicator, and the earphone.

    Abstract: An external-electrode fluorescent lamp has two external electrodes disposed on its ends, wherein each external electrode has an extended portion flattened to form two substantially flat circumferential areas. With such flattened circumferential areas, the electric contact made to the conductive strip can be improved. For mounting a row of external-electrode fluorescent lamps, a mounting base with two electrically conductive strips are used. Each electrically conductive strip has a plurality of curved sections to fit the extended portion of the external electrode. The curved section has two substantially sidewalls to make contact with the flat circumferential areas of the extended portion of the external electrode. The extended portion can also be slightly tapered.

    Abstract: An external megaphone system of the mobile phone for broadcasting an incoming call sound signal of the mobile phone is provided.     Abstract: A battery cartridge includes a pair of outer frame members for receiving unit cells and an inner frame member disposed between the outer frame members. The unit cells are mounted between the outer and inner frame members. The inner frame member has a plurality of through-holes, which communicate with the outside while the unit cells are mounted between the outer and inner frame members. An opened type battery module includes such a battery cartridge. The battery cartridge and the battery module have a high structural integration and mechanical strength. Consequently, the present invention has the effect of minimizing the size of a battery system, stably mounting unit cells having low mechanical strength, and effectively removing heat from the unit cells.

    Abstract: A method for identifying at least a display panel of a notebook computer by processing audio signals is to incorporate a resistor on the main circuit board of the notebook computer, and different resistors in different display panels for deriving specific voltages. A control unit generates a strapping signal to pass through the voltage derivation circuit to an audio CODEC. The audio CODEC reads the voltage and transforms it into digital value and finds out the corresponding panel ID with a matching table. Therefore, the corresponding display panel can be identified.
