    Abstract: Provided are an acousto-optic element, an acousto-optic element array, and a display apparatus including the acousto-optic element array. The acousto-optic element includes: an acousto-optic modulator which includes an acousto-optic layer formed of an acousto-optic material; a light supplier which supplies light to the acousto-optic modulator in a first direction; a first sound-wave modulator which applies first elastic waves to the acousto-optic modulator in a second direction; and a second sound-wave modulator which applies second elastic waves to the acousto-optic modulator in a third direction. The light supplied from the light supplier to the acousto-optic modulator is deflected by diffraction caused by the first elastic waves applied from the first sound-wave modulator and diffraction caused by the second elastic waves applied from the second sound-wave modulator, and is output from the acousto-optic modulator through a front side of the acousto-optic modulator.

The linear vibrator uses rubber or silicone rubber having lower elasticity as a material of an elastic body secured to a casing or a base for supporting an oscillator horizontally moving by an electromagnetic force relative to a facing stator, thereby lowering the frequency sensitivity due to a characteristic frequency; reducing various errors of parts and errors in part assembly, thus resulting in smaller deviations of characteristic frequencies between products from mass production; and significantly reducing production cost by using an elastic body made of rubber or silicon rubber instead of steel plate or wire, thereby efficiently producing a structure through a simple assembly process and reducing the manufacture facility cost and labor cost resulting in improved productivity.

In one embodiment, the UV sensor includes a piezoelectric material, a sensing film arranged on the piezoelectric material and senses ultraviolet rays, an elastic wave input unit arranged on one end of the sensing film on the piezoelectric material and provides the sensing film with an elastic wave generated based on an electrical signal and an elastic wave output unit arranged on the other end of the sensing film on the piezoelectric material and senses a change in frequency of the electrical signal generated based on the provided elastic wave. The UV sensor improves sensitivity of the sensor by enabling the particles having large surface areas due to their characteristics to react with a larger amount of ultraviolet rays. the UV sensor can secure price competitiveness since the UV sensor measures a change in frequency of the elastic wave using zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles.

The marker coordinate calculation unit calculates the coordinates of the markers in the marker images. The shape function determination unit determines a shape function by performing spline interpolation based on the calculated marker coordinates. The structural health evaluation unit evaluates the structural health of the structure by calculating the strain or stress of the structure based on the radius of curvature calculated at each location on the determined shape function.
