  • Publication number: 20130169072
Abstract: The invention relates to a vibration generator which is used in devices, such as mobile phones, requiring a vibration mode. More specifically, the invention relates to a horizontal vibration type vibration generator which includes a casing that is open on one surface thereof, a vibration part having a weight provided inside the casing, and a spring mounted inside the casing, and which produces horizontal vibration by using the phenomenon of resonance which occurs by causing oscillation in an electromagnetic force having the same frequency as the intrinsic vibration frequency of the spring, and which solves the problem of a reduction in the life span of the vibration generator due to mechanical friction as seen in existing mechanical vibration generators, and generates a large vibration force despite having a thin construction unachievable in a vertical moving type vibration generator. The invention also relates to a production method of the vibration generator.

  • Patent number: 7622169
Abstract: An emblem assembly of an automobile is disclosed. Because a pad and a thin plate are fabricated as separate components and then fixed to a cover, a symbol formed on the thin plate can be effectively exposed to a user through respective material colors of the pad and the thin plate themselves. In addition, since the pad is made of the plastic material, different from the other pad made of the conventional metal material, the circumferential edge portion of the pad would not be torn as in the related art although the thickness of the circumferential edge portion is relatively thick, and the difference of material colors between the pad and the thin plate can enhance the conspicuousness characteristics of the emblem.

  • Publication number: 20070138777
Abstract: An air bag system is disclosed. The air bag system comprises a cushion deployed by gas from an inflator in the event of a vehicle collision, for protecting a passenger, a gas guider provided between the cushion and the inflator, for guiding the gas from the inflator to the cushion, and a guide bag provided at one side of the cushion, and deployed by the gas guided by the gas guider earlier than the cushion is so that the cushion is deployed without interference from other adjacent components. The cushion is smoothly deployed without interference from other adjacent components, thereby improving the deployment performance of the cushion. A ramp used for a prior art air bag system is omitted, thus the air bag system is formed in an overall simple structure. The unit cost and weight of the air bag system are lowered, and it is unnecessary to acquire a space for installing the ramp, thereby improving the design freedom of the air bag system.

  • Publication number: 20060119942
Abstract: A display device is disclosed. The display device includes a condenser unit, an illumination lens system, a plurality of diffractive light modulators, a mirror for separating illumination light from diffracted light, a polarized beam separator, a filter unit and a projection unit. The condenser unit converges polarized light, and outputs the converged polarized light. The illumination lens system converts the polarized light into linear parallel light. The diffractive light modulators produce diffracted light beams. The mirror passes the polarized light therethrough using slits, and reflects the diffracted light beams toward the filter system. The polarized beam separator separates the polarized light on a wavelength basis and then allows the separated beams to be incident on the diffractive light modulators, and converges the diffracted light beams and then outputs the converged light to the mirror.

  • Publication number: 20060083124
Abstract: A color display apparatus having a virtual single light origin is disclosed. The color display apparatus includes an illumination lens system, a combining system, a Fourier filter and a projection system. The illumination lens system converts a plurality of light beams, which are radiated from a plurality of light sources, into linear, parallel light beams. The combining system produces a plurality of diffracted light beams having a plurality of diffraction orders by modulating each of the parallel light beams incident from the illumination lens, and outputs the plurality of diffracted light beams so that the diffracted light beams have a same virtual light origin and are adjacently located. The Fourier filter passes only some of the diffracted light beams, which have desired diffraction orders, therethrough. The projection system focuses the diffracted light beams, which are passed through the Fourier filter, on an object, and then allows the focused diffracted light beams to scan the object.

The illumination lens system converts a plurality of light beams into linear parallel light beams. The diffractive light modulation system produces a plurality of diffracted light beams having a plurality of diffraction orders by modulating each of the plurality of parallel light beams that are almost perpendicularly incident from the illumination lens system, The combining system focuses the plurality of diffracted light beams having the plurality of diffraction orders. The Fourier filter system selects diffracted light beams having desired diffraction orders using a dichroic filter. The projection system focuses the diffracted light beams on an object, and allowing the focused diffracted light beams to scan the object.

  • Patent number: 5734578
Abstract: An optical RF spectrum analyzer which is suitable for determining the reaime spectral frequency content of radar return signals. The optical RF spectrum analyzer includes a demodulator for demodulating an input RF signal to produce a time-varying voltage signal at its output, and a sample and hold circuit for sampling the time-varying voltage signal to obtain and hold a prescribed number of samples of the time-varying voltage signal during each of successive prescribed frame intervals. At the conclusion of each frame interval, the samples obtained and held during that frame interval are applied to respective inputs of a laser array to drive respective ones of the lasers in the array, whereby the laser array produces a spatial pattern of infrared radiation having a spatial intensity distribution which is indicative of the amplitude distribution of the envelope of the input RF signal over a given frame interval.
