  • Patent number: 9793708
Abstract: Overvoltage protection circuits include a combination of an overvoltage detection circuit and a voltage clamping circuit that inhibits sustained overvoltage conditions. An overvoltage detection circuit can include first and second terminals electrically coupled to first and second power supply signal lines, respectively. This overvoltage detection circuit may be configured to generate a clamp activation signal (CAS) in response to detecting an excessive overvoltage between the first and second power supply signal lines. This CAS is provided to an input of the voltage clamping circuit, which is electrically coupled to the first power supply signal line and configured to sink current from the first power supply signal line in response to the CAS. The voltage clamping circuit may be configured to turn on and sink current from the first power supply signal line in-sync with a transition of the CAS from a first logic state to a second logic state.

  • Patent number: 9370777
Abstract: A food mincer providing improved features. The suction base includes a control ring providing an improved visual indication of its position. The plunger to feed the food is formed as a hollow container having a sealing lid to provide a storage area for accessories. The feed screw is formed in a multi-step molding process to allow for closer tolerances, which in turn allows for a simple gasket seal to be used. The feed screw and fan blade include a mating configuration only when the fan blade is in the proper orientation, such that if the fan blade is assembled in the incorrect orientation the extrusion grids may not be assembled.

  • Patent number: 9300356
Abstract: Medical cable authentication apparatuses and methods are disclosed. Some embodiments herein provide a medical cable assembly for use in a patient monitoring system including authentication circuit. The authentication circuit can provide a signal indicative of whether the medical cable assembly is compatible, or desirable for use with a particular patient monitor and/or sensor. The authentication circuit can include a substantially constant current source that drives a capacitor, wherein a voltage signal provided by a patient monitor drives the current source, and the voltage across the capacitor is used to generate an authentication output signal.

  • Publication number: 20160053520
Abstract: A locking device includes a spindle follower linkage coupled with a latch and rotatable between a locked position and an unlocked position. A locking block is formed with a pin hole. A pin is insertable through an opening of a housing and into the pin hole. A locking block spring for biasing the locking block in a first position where the pin is inserted into the pin hole and the locking block is disengaged from the spindle follower linkage, and a second position where the pin is removed and the locking block is pushed towards and engaged with the spindle follower linkage, thereby holding the spindle follower linkage in the locked position. A spring unit is held inside the pin hole to facilitate ejection of the pin.

  • Patent number: 9204758
Abstract: A portable food processor includes a container for containing food, a food processing component and a container cover component. The food processing component is arranged inside the container and rotates relative to the container. The container cover component is fixed to cover an opening of the container and includes a cover body, a driving component arranged in the top of the cover body and a transmission mechanism arranged in the cover body. The driving component drives the food processing component to rotate relative to the container through the transmission mechanism. The driving component is a pull rod component which includes a chute arranged in the top of the cover body and a pull rod arranged in the chute. The pull rod is provided with a rack to mesh with a gear of the transmission mechanism. The pull rod is pulled in a reciprocating manner to operate.

  • Patent number: 9173524
Abstract: The present invention provides a pedestal for a food processor, which includes a container, a base arranged under the bottom of the container, a locking assembly configured for locking the container on the base. The locking assembly includes block holes arranged in the base, block grooves arranged in the bottom of the container, and a chuck rotatably arranged on the bottom of the base. The chuck has snap-gauges cooperating with the block grooves passing through the block holes respectively. When uninstalling, it only needs to rotate the chuck to complete the uninstalling operation, and thus the operation is very convenient. When replacing the food processor, it only needs to take down the container and other components of various food processors which cooperate with the container, and does not need to replace the base. Thus the present invention can rapidly replace different food processors.

  • Patent number: 9175504
Abstract: The present application is directed to a mechanical combination lock which includes a base having a cavity, a central shaft provided inside the cavity, and a plurality of combination control units provided on the central shaft, wherein each combination control unit includes a combination disc having at least three combination regions that correspond respectively to different combination conditions. The present application provides the mechanical combination lock whereby one button can set a combination with 2 or more bits. That means repeating characters can appear in a combination sequence. This can greatly increase the complexity of the combination sequence and can prevent cracking of the combination sequence without increasing the number of buttons on the mechanical combination lock.
