Patent number: 12100285Abstract: A system may monitor usage of a cleaning chemical and indicate when the chemical has expired and needs to be replaced. In some examples, the system includes a reservoir containing the chemical and a sensor associated with the reservoir that can detect user interaction with the chemical in the reservoir. The system may track an amount of time until the chemical in the reservoir is deemed to have expired and provide a user alert indicating expiration of the chemical. The system can control the amount of time remaining until the chemical is deemed to have expired based on the detected addition of the object to the reservoir.Type: GrantFiled: March 20, 2023Date of Patent: September 24, 2024Assignee: Ecolab USA Inc.Inventors: Donna Thi Nguyen, Conor Sylvester Smith, Daniel Wald, Amani Eltahir Babekir, Kyle David Wood

Patent number: 12095491Abstract: Carrier aggregation (CA) may cause interference between operation on two or more carriers within a user equipment (UE). This interference can degrade signal quality on one or more of the carriers involved in the carrier aggregation, which may be referred to as “desensing” one or more carriers. One or more isolating buffers may be coupled at a down-conversion mixer at a point where the down-conversion mixer receives a signal from a transmission line for isolating the transmission line from other transmission lines. The isolating buffer may reduce the effect of interference between multiple transmission lines carrying different carriers during carrier aggregation (CA) operation. The isolating buffers may be used in an RF transceiver supporting both 5G sub-7 GHz and 5G mmWave wireless networks and carrier aggregation across sub-7 GHz and mmWave bands.Type: GrantFiled: June 21, 2023Date of Patent: September 17, 2024Assignee: QUALCOMM IncorporatedInventors: Jang Joon Lee, Kyle David Holland, Prakash Thoppay Egambaram, Aleksandar Miodrag Tasic

Publication number: 20240148447Abstract: Systems and methods of associating components of a surgical instrument for navigation-assisted surgery, and controlling the surgical instruments. A first association is generated between the end effector and the navigation array from an input based on an arrangement of tracking elements of the navigation array, and an identification signal. A second association is generated between a power source and the navigation array from a battery signal wirelessly transmitted from the power source that is indicative of current being drawn on the power source. The power source may be controlled based on a position and/or an orientation of the end effector and a pose of a patient tracker. Should the position of the end effector cross a predefined virtual boundary, a control signal wirelessly transmitted to the power source may alter the current being supplied to a motor. An inertial sensor may provide a movement signal used for generating an association.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 7, 2022Publication date: May 9, 2024Applicant: Stryker European Operations LimitedInventors: Richard Evan Stein, Prashanth Chetlur Adithya, Kyle David Hanis, Alison Paige Kuhn, Zachary Bolthouse

Patent number: 11929114Abstract: A system and method for efficiently resetting data stored in a memory array are described. In various implementations, an integrated circuit includes a memory for storing data, and a processing unit that generates access requests for the data stored in the memory. When access circuitry of the memory array begins a reset operation, it reduces a power supply voltage level used by memory bit cells in a column of the array to a value less than a threshold voltage of transistors. Therefore, the p-type transistors of the bit cells do not contend with the write driver during a write operation. The access circuitry provides the reset data on the write bit lines, and asserts each of the write word lines of the memory array. To complete the write operation, the access circuitry returns the power supply voltage level from below the threshold voltage level to an operating voltage level.Type: GrantFiled: December 29, 2021Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.Inventors: Russell Schreiber, Kyle David Whittle

Patent number: 11893205Abstract: In non-limiting examples of the present disclosure, systems, methods and devices for enabling real-time gestures on shared canvases are presented. A shared object service may be associated with a plurality of shared objects. A plurality of user accounts and/or client devices may be granted access to a shared object. Each client device that accesses the shared object may store a distributed data structure locally that corresponds to the shared object. When client devices perform operations associated with the shared object the operations are logged by the shared object service and timestamped. Those operations are then reported to the client devices, where cursor movements can be rendered in real time. If cursor movements and/or user input device operations associated with a cursor meet conditions for a gesture operation the cursor may be transformed to a gesture/animation and rendered on canvases of each connected client device.Type: GrantFiled: December 23, 2021Date of Patent: February 6, 2024Assignee: MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGY LICENSING, LLCInventors: Nathan Darrel Kile, Jr., Jaewon Hwang, Nicolas Gunnar Alexander Nuzzaci, David Adam Stephens, Kyle David Ryan, Maria Montserrat Lozano Dieck

Publication number: 20240031365Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for identifying an application (e.g., accessing application) that is attempting to access a resource. In some examples, access may be managed by an authentication service. When an access request is received at the authentication service from an application on a client device, the authentication service may ask the application to communicate with an identification agent on the client device. The identification agent may perform one or more tests to discover the identity of the application. In some cases, the identification agent may send the identity of the application to the authentication service. The authentication service may then allow or deny access by the accessing application to the resource based at least in part on the discovered identity.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 28, 2023Publication date: January 25, 2024Inventors: David Steven Gross, Jennifer Lee Bammel, David William Matteson, Christopher Carl Cassell, Kyle David Mills

Publication number: 20240030952Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure may include a receiver with a reconfigurable processing path for different signal conditions. Such a receiver may reconfigure between a mixer-first configuration and an amplifier-first configuration. In the mixer-first configuration, an RF input signal is not passed through an LNA for amplification before processing the RF input signal for downconversion to baseband and eventual extraction of the information in the signal. In the amplifier-first configuration, an RF input signal is passed through an LNA for amplification before processing the RF input signal for downconversion to baseband and eventual extraction of the information in the signal. Reconfiguring the receiver between mixer-first and amplifier-first configurations may be performed based on detection of jammer signals and/or measurement of signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).Type: ApplicationFiled: October 5, 2023Publication date: January 25, 2024Inventors: Jang Joon Lee, Kyle David Holland, Jian Kang, Aleksandar Miodrag Tasic, Chih-Fan Liao, Yingying Li, Lai Kan Leung, Chiewcharn Narathong

Publication number: 20230415013Abstract: A device to strengthen a person's arm muscles through the utilization of a portable device including a handle portion and a weight component with the two components separated by a flexible rod is provided. Such a device allows for the user to grip the handle portion and act as if they are throwing such a handle portion while the weight end moves along an arc defined through the length of the flexible rod. The resultant action is the generation of centripetal force along the defined arc with the reactive centrifugal force providing resistance to the user's arm muscles in a manner that is unique and heretofore unattainable through the utilization of a portable exercise device. The flexible rod component provides at least 1 foot (100 cm) of spacing between the handle portion and the weight portion.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 4, 2023Publication date: December 28, 2023Inventor: Kyle David McCaleb
