  • Publication number: 20190282059
Abstract: A dishwasher appliance includes a spray nozzle having a housing defining a spray chamber in fluid communication with a fluid circulation assembly. A diversion element is positioned within the spray chamber and is movable between a lowered position and a raised position where it contacts a discharge orifice. The diversion element defines a plurality of flow paths that are randomly oriented relative to the discharge orifice every time the diversion element is moved into the raised position, such as when the fluid circulation assembly cycles off and then on again.

  • Patent number: 10372515
Abstract: A system and method for accessing data in one of a first legacy computer system that has a first operating system and a second legacy computer system that has a second operating system that is different from the first operating system. The method includes providing a front end application that is in communication with the first and second legacy computer systems, with the application being displayed on a user interface of a computer. Aircraft and maintenance data of a first legacy airline is associated with the first legacy computer system and aircraft and maintenance data of a second legacy airline is associated with the second legacy computer system.

  • Publication number: 20190223683
Abstract: A dishwasher appliance includes a drain basin defined at a bottom of a sump of the dishwasher. The drain basin defines a discharge port and a drain pump is in fluid communication with the discharge port for selectively urging a flow of wash fluid through the discharge port to an external drain during a drain cycle. A check valve assembly includes a check valve removably positioned over the discharge port between the drain pump and the drain basin and a positioning arm attached to the check valve for positioning and locking the check valve in place.

  • Publication number: 20190200840
Abstract: A dishwasher appliance having a diverter integrated with a sump of the dishwasher appliance is provided. Features of the diverter integrated with the sump provide for more efficient development of, tooling for, and manufacture of the dishwasher appliance. Further, features of the diverter integrated with the sump may reduce leakage between the sump and the diverter and may also reduce part count of the dishwasher appliance.

  • Publication number: 20190179350
Abstract: A dishwasher appliance includes a circulation pump, a pressure sensor upstream of the circulation pump, and a diverter downstream of the circulation pump. A method of circulating fluid includes operating the circulation pump at a first speed less than a target speed for a first amount of time. The method also includes determining a first minimum pressure value based on the first speed and a position of the diverter and monitoring a pressure upstream of the circulation pump with the pressure sensor. The method further includes operating the circulation pump at a second speed greater than the first speed when the monitored pressure continuously exceeds the first minimum pressure value for a second amount of time and determining a second minimum pressure value based on the second speed and the position of the diverter after operating the circulation pump at the second speed for a third amount of time.
