  • Publication number: 20120211390
Abstract: A bakery tray includes a base and side walls extending upward from sides of the base, each side wall including an outer side rail and an inner side rail. Side drag rails extend downward from the base proximate sides of the base, with feet projecting outward from the side drag rails. An outer rib projects downward from an outer edge of each of the feet such that the side drag rail of an identical upper tray being stacked on the bakery tray contacts the flanges while the outer ribs of the upper tray are received between the outer side rail and the inner side rail. In another feature, the side walls include handle openings, the handle openings each partially defined by a convex outer wall. In another feature, an upper edge of the front wall includes finger corrugations for accommodating the fingers of a user's hand grasping the tray.

  • Publication number: 20120193260
Abstract: A tray includes a base and a plurality of walls extending upward from the base. In one feature, a first wall of the plurality of walls may include a projection outward from the first wall. The projection is aligned with an upper edge of the first wall, such that the projection is outward of a portion of the upper edge of the first wall. The projection of an identical upper tray stacked on the tray would interlock with the upper edge of the first wall to resist outward deflection of the upper edge of the first wall of the tray. In another feature, a platform may extend inward from at least one of the walls to support smaller trays stacked thereon. In another feature, an exterior of each of the side walls may include an interlocking recess for receiving automated handling equipment for supporting the tray.

  • Publication number: 20120049472
Abstract: A dolly includes a deck having a support surface and a plurality of casters below the deck. The deck includes a plurality of caster-receiving pockets formed in an upper surface of the deck. The caster-receiving pockets are aligned with the casters, such that the casters of an identical dolly could be received in the caster-receiving pockets. The caster-receiving pockets are oriented at an acute angle relative to the end edges and side edges of the dolly. When stacked, the dollies are more consistently aligned and the stack is vertical.

  • Publication number: 20120048767
Abstract: A nestable container includes a base wall and a pair of side walls and a pair of end walls extending upward from the base wall. The walls are nestable within side walls and end walls of an identical container. The container includes one or more supports, each having a pair of support arms extending from a support bar. The support is movable between a nesting position where the support bar is outward of the base wall, a high stack position where the support bar is a first height over the base wall, and a low stack position where the support bar is a second height over the base wall. The support bar is not directly supported on the side walls when the support is in the high stack position. The support bar is supported on the side walls at a point spaced away from the support bar.

  • Publication number: 20120043327
Abstract: A dumpster includes a plastic body with first and second plastic lids that are pivotally attached to the body. A divider is secured to the body to separate a dumpster interior into first and second compartments. The first lid covers the first compartment and the second lid covers the second compartment. The dumpster includes a locking assembly that allows one lid to be locked while the other lid remains unlocked, and which also allows both lids to be locked at the same time. Each lid includes a support frame to provide reinforcement during an emptying process when one lid is locked.

  • Patent number: 8066143
Abstract: A storage container includes a base having side walls and end walls extending upwardly from the base. Lid halves are hingeably connected to upper edges of the side walls. A security recess is formed in the side walls adjacent to each hinge and corresponds with a security tab projecting from the lid halves preventing vertical movement of the outer edge of the lid half when the lid is in the closed position. The lid halves also include a lip adjacent to the hinge and upper and lower leaves that overlap with the opposing lid half to prevent moisture from seeping into the storage container.

  • Publication number: 20110042259
Abstract: A storage container includes a base and a plurality of walls extending upwardly from the base. At least one of the walls includes a plurality of projections on its exterior at different heights. The interior of the wall includes a plurality of channels into which the projections of a like container would be slidably received when the empty containers are nested. A plurality of supports are pivotably connected to the container and can be selectably pivoted to block selected ones of the plurality of channels such that the projections are supported on the supports and do not enter the channels, thereby supporting the upper container at a selected height.
