  • Publication number: 20100108625
Abstract: A scoop includes a side member and lower blade that cooperate with each other to secure and hold a row of packages at one time. The packages are stored within a container that has a pivotable front wall to allow access to divided rows of packages within an interior of the container. During transport, the containers are supported on a rack structure that allows access to the pivotable front wall. During delivery, the front wall is pivoted into an open position and the scoop is inserted into the container to remove a row of packages for placement on a display.

  • Publication number: 20100090428
Abstract: A roll-out cart includes a lid and a cart body supported on wheels. The cart body is comprised of a base wall, a front wall, a rear wall, and a pair of side walls that cooperate with each other to define a cart interior. The lid is attached to the cart body with a hinge connection and is moveable between an open position to provide access to the cart interior and a closed position to prevent access to the cart interior. A latch is pivotally mounted to the lid to lock the lid in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 7641066
Abstract: A collapsible container with latches provides a more consistent knockdown force in more situations. At least one of the engaging surfaces of the latch is curved outwardly toward the other engaging surface. This provides substantially tangential contact between the surfaces, even when the wall is deformed slightly by the knockdown force. The tangential contact provides consistent frictional force resisting the knockdown force.

  • Publication number: 20090294322
Abstract: A pail includes a base and at least one wall extending upwardly from a periphery of the base to an opening of the pail. A lip protrudes outwardly from an upper edge of the wall adjacent the opening. A skirt curves outwardly and downwardly from an outer surface of the wall below the lip. A lid for the pail includes an upper wall and three latch portions extending downwardly from an outer periphery of the upper wall. The three latch portions are substantially evenly disposed about the outer periphery of the upper wall. A tear away strip connects the three latch portions, to prevent removal of the lid from the pail. When the tear away strip is torn away from the lid, the lid can be removed from the pail by manually deflecting one of the latch portions.

  • Publication number: 20090232632
Abstract: A support platform for use in automated storage and retrieval systems is generally a planar board having an upper support surface. The board further includes opposing end edges and opposing side edges. The end edges each include first and second interlocking members formed therein. The support platform is placed on the racks in the automated storage and retrieval system with items or containers of items placed thereon. Several support platforms are placed on each rack, one behind the other. The end edges of each support platform are interlocked with each adjacent support platform, with each first interlocking member interlocked with one of the second interlocking members of an adjacent support platform.

  • Publication number: 20090085315
Abstract: A dolly according includes a deck and a plurality of casters extending downward below the deck. A connector is pivotably connected to the deck and is selectively pivotable between a retracted position and a connecting position. The deck also includes a receiver for receiving the connector of a similar dolly adjacent thereto to connect the dolly to the similar dolly.

  • Publication number: 20080244988
Abstract: Several improved manhole grade rings and methods for providing improved manhole grade rings. In one embodiment, a plurality of concentric annular rings are connected by radial ribs. Certain radial ribs can be broken to provide a manhole grade ring of the desired diameter. In several other embodiments, concentric annular ribs and interconnecting radial ribs provide lightweight stackable manhole grade rings. In another embodiment, a manhole grade ring defines an annular cavity that can be filled to reinforce the manhole grade ring. Two embodiments provide improved forms for pouring manhole grade rings in place. One form provides a plurality of forms of different diameters that can be filled to any height, while another form provides adjustable height of the manhole grade ring.

  • Patent number: 7011215
Abstract: A molded display tray and lid includes a generally planar base from which a pair of end walls and a pair of side walls extend generally perpendicularly. A downwardly extending lip extends about the periphery of the upper edge of the side walls and end walls. The side walls each include an upper edge that curves downwardly towards its center, such that the center of each side wall is the lowest point of the side wall. The base includes a plurality of integrally molded, downwardly extending feet. In use, the display tray and lid is first used as a lid on a box of produce, such as bananas. At its destination, the box and lid are inverted, and the box removed, such that the contents are left remaining on the display tray and lid.
