  • Publication number: 20230242017
Abstract: An infant car seat system includes an infant car seat with an integrated anchor system to conveniently secure the infant car seat to a vehicle seat, without using a detachable vehicle installation base and without using a vehicle seat belt. The anchor system is coupled to the infant car seat at one or more mechanical constraining points positioned based on the center of gravity of the infant car seat and respective anchor points at which the anchor system engages with vehicle lower anchors. The anchor system may be a rigid anchor system or a belted anchor system, and the system may include one or more of a release actuator for a quick disconnect mechanism, an adjustment foot to accommodate different vehicle seats and ensure a tight fit, and/or one or more storage compartments to store parts of the anchor system when unused. Such features render the infant car seat system particularly useful for ride-hailing and ridesharing services.

  • Publication number: 20220007852
Abstract: A child safety seat includes a seat body, a fastening buckle and a seat cover. The fastening buckle includes a fastening portion and a restraining portion. An end of the fastening portion is fixedly connected to the seat body, and another end of the fastening portion is fixedly connected to the restraining portion to form a connection. A cross-section area of the fastening portion at the connection is less than a cross-section area of the restraining portion at the connection. The seat cover is detachably sleeved on the fastening portion. The restraining portion restrains the seat cover on the fastening portion to position the seat cover on the seat body. The child safety seat has simple structure for positioning the seat cover, and the seat cover can be installed on the seat body more conveniently, thereby having an advantage of simple production.
