Abstract: Various embodiments provide methods, apparatuses, systems, or computer program products for providing dynamic control of a signal. In an example embodiment, a system comprises a signal generator, a controller configured to control operation of the signal generator, a first signal path between the signal generator and an output connected to an electrode of an ion trap, and a selectively connectable second signal path between the signal generator and the output to bypass the low pass filter. The signal generator is configured to generate a signal comprising a first frequency component having a first range of frequencies and/or a second frequency component having a second range of frequencies higher than the first range of frequencies. The first signal path comprises a low pass filter to filter noise above the first range of frequencies. The second signal path comprises a bandpass filter to permit the second frequency component to pass from the signal generator to the output.

  • Patent number: 12184394
Abstract: The present application relates to techniques for proactively monitoring and detecting failures associated with downlinking data during satellite passes. In some embodiments, first data representing a performance of a hardware device during a satellite pass may be obtained and performance metrics may be computed based on the first data. Second data may be generated based on the performance metrics and a first machine learning model may be used to determine changepoints within the second data and times associated with each changepoint. A second machine learning model may be used to determine a likelihood that the satellite pass will be successful based on at least one of the quantity of changepoints or the times associated with each changepoint, and a quality of service (QoS) score of a client may be updated based on the likelihood.

  • Publication number: 20240360841
Abstract: Multistage centrifugal pumping systems include a plurality of pump stages contained within a pump housing. Each stage typically includes a stationary diffuser and a rotatable impeller. Each of the diffusers includes a projection and a receiver that cooperate with the corresponding projection and receiver on adjacent diffusers to form a nested relationship between the diffusers that prevents the diffusers from rotating inside the pump housing. The projections have a projection outer surface with a non-circular shape. The receivers include a receiver inner surface with a complementary non-circular shape. The engagement between the non-circular projection outer surface and the non-circular receiver inner surface locks the adjacent receivers in fixed rotational alignment.
