    Abstract: An arrangement for coupling RF energy for inductively coupled plasma chamber. The RF coil or radiator is embedded within a groove made in the ceiling of the chamber and an insulating filler covers the coil within the groove. The ceiling may be made of two plates: an upper plate made of conductive material and a bottom plate made of dielectric material. The two plates are in physical contact. A magnetic shield may be provided over the coil to control the spread of the magnetic field from the coil. Fluid channels may be made in the conductive plate to provide thermal control. Also, fluid conduits may be provided to allow injecting gas into the pace between the metal and dielectric plates.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for improving surface reflectance of silicon wafers are disclosed. The systems and methods improve surface reflectance by forming a textured surface on the silicon wafer by performing surface oxidation and dry etching processes. The surface oxidation maybe performed using a dry oxygen plasma process. A dry etch process is performed to remove the oxide layer formed by the surface oxidation step and etch the Silicon layer with oxide masking. Dry etching enables black silicon formation, which minimizes or eliminates light reflection or scattering, eventually leading to higher energy conversion efficiency.

The apparatus of the disclosed invention comprises: a driving unit which generates power; a test unit driven by the driving unit; and a control unit which controls the operation of a braking apparatus to generate a brake force on the test unit and to check braking performance. The present invention uses a rope unit moving at a speed for inducing a braking operation by the rotation of driving sheaves spaced apart from each other, rather than testing braking performance in an expensive elevator test tower, thereby preventing the possible dangers of tests conducted in said test tower. Further, the present invention controls loading capacity simply by controlling the loads of the driving unit to enable easy testing.

    Abstract: A hermetic compressor and a refrigeration cycle device having the same are provided. An oil separator is installed either outside or inside of a casing to separate oil from a discharged refrigerant and an oil pump driven by a driving force of a motor is used to recollect the oil separated in the oil separator, whereby the separation between oil and refrigerant can effectively be performed and also a fabricating cost can be reduced. Also, an introduction of the separated refrigerant back into the compressor can be prevented so as to improve a cooling capability of the refrigeration cycle device. In addition, the oil pump is driven by the driving force of the motor, resulting in a simple configuration of the compressor and a reduction of a fabricating cost of the compressor.
