  • Patent number: 7275083
Abstract: A web-based customer lead generator system. The system is based on an application service model, with the programming for the system being accessible to users of the system via web browsers and the Internet. The users are typically business enterprises that maintain e-commerce web sites. The pre-emptive profiling process searches the Internet to obtain email addresses of potential web site buyers. It performs a reverse look-up process to obtain demographic data about each potential buyer. This data is used to provide a purchasing profile of the buyer, which is then forwarded to the e-commerce business enterprise.

  • Patent number: 7213491
Abstract: A ratcheting tool having an axial pawl ratcheting mechanism is provided that may be used for a screwdriver or wrench and comprises a first gear including axial gear teeth on a first side providing for ratcheting in a first direction. A second bidirectional gear has axial teeth on both sides. The second gear is mounted to the first side of the first gear so that the first gear axial gear teeth engage the second gear axial gear teeth and provide an axial pawl ratchet assembly. A ratchet head is provided having an opening for receiving the axial pawl ratchet assembly therein in order to transfer torque between the ratchet head and the axial pawl ratchet assembly. An actuator is provided for adjusting the positioning of the axial pawl ratchet assembly between a first position and a second position.

  • Patent number: 7185956
Abstract: A braking system including a pre-charge with a plurality of pumps disposed in parallel with respect to one another. The pumps can direct pressurized brake fluid to the brakes during a controlled braking maneuver. The pumps operate with offset operating cycles such that a first pump is drawing fluid while a second pump is pushing fluid to the brakes. The invention provides an embodiment having three pumps operated in parallel, wherein the pumps define operating cycles offset 120 degrees from one another. The invention also provides a separate master cylinder reservoir feed circuit to improve response of the system, especially cold weather response.

  • Patent number: 7141626
Abstract: The present invention relates to novel catalysts for use with a fiberglass non-woven binder. The catalyst can be a Lewis acid, an organic acid salt, a free-radical generator, or a mixture thereof. The catalyst provides stronger bonding, increased crosslinking density, reduced curing times, and reduced curing temperatures. Fiberglass mats made with polymer binder compositions containing the catalyst exhibit both flexibility and elasticity, allowing the mats to be compressed for storage, yet return to original thickness once the compressive forces are removed. Formaldehyde-free wood composites, such as plywood and fiberboard, may also be produced with polymer binder compositions containing the catalyst.

  • Patent number: 7096220
Abstract: A web-based customer lead harvesting system. The system is based on an application service model, with the programming for the system being accessible to users of the system via web browsers and the Internet. The users, who are typically business enterprises, may access the system to search unstructured Internet data to obtain leads for prospective customers. The system accepts criteria from the user that describes a type or types of potential customers, as well as addresses of Internet sites of interest. A crawler process retrieves the web site data, and stores the data in a web archive. A harvester process then searches the Internet data according to the client-provided criteria. The system returns the names or the identifying information about the prospect together with a link to the document that verifies the prospect's match to the criteria.

  • Patent number: 7030205
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a solid chelating resin consisting of a reactive hydrophobic backbone having pendent carbodithioic groups. Preferably the resin is a poly(dithiocarbamate) containing no tertiary nitrogen groups. The invention is also directed to a novel process for making a chelating resin involving a) reacting a nucleophilic compound with carbon disulfide in a suitable solvent, to form a carbodithioic acid, b) neutralizing the carbodithioic acid with a base to form a carbodithioic acid salt; and c) reacting said carbodithioic acid salt with a crosslinking reagent in a suitable solvent to form a solid chelating resin. The chelating resin is useful in removing metals and cationic compounds from effluent streams.
