Patent number: 11997558Abstract: It is common for device coupled to a primary network to have preferential access to network resources compared to a device coupled to a guest network. However, the quality of experience (QoE) is enhanced by providing automatic switching of a client device on a guest network to a primary network. The dynamic approach switches the network connection of a client device used by a guest user/client device from a guest network to a primary network based on one or more network conditions that are associated with the guest network, the primary network, or both. Seamlessly switching the client device to the primary network, when such does not impact existing users of the primary network, enhances the network experience of the client devices initially associated with the guest network.Type: GrantFiled: August 20, 2021Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Assignee: ARRIS ENTERPRISES LLCInventors: Krishna Prasad Panje, Lakshmi Arunkumar

Publication number: 20240129187Abstract: One or more network metrics associated with one or more network devices of a network environment can be improved by analyzing these network metrics at a network resource. The network resource can compare the one or more network metrics collected over a period time to a corresponding threshold. Based on a comparison of the one or more network metrics, for example, an average of the one or more network metrics, to one or more corresponding thresholds, the network resource can determine one or more network configurations that can be sent to a user, a client device or both. The one or more network configurations can provide one or more recommendations for improving the network performance, for example, the one or more network metrics, such as by adding, removing, replacing or otherwise changing one or more existing network devices.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 5, 2023Publication date: April 18, 2024Inventors: Krishna Prasad PANJE, Lakshmi ARUNKUMAR

Publication number: 20240114447Abstract: Configuration of a main access point device (APD) requires an amount of time that can cause a user to incorrectly assume that that issues have arisen during configuration. The amount of time can be due in part to the APD determining a backhaul connection for use with an EAPD, for example, a satellite APD. The APD can determine an initial backhaul connection for use during the configuration. This initial backhaul connection can be based, for example, on one or more default configuration parameters. The APD can proceed with configuration using the initial backhaul connection. The APD can send a configuration notification to a client device associated with the user that informs the user, for example, that the configuration is completed and that a backhaul optimization is being performed. In this way, the user is informed of the status of the configuration such that costs and resources can be conserved.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 4, 2023Publication date: April 4, 2024Inventors: Krishna Prasad PANJE, Lakshmi ARUNKUMAR, David F. Publication number: 20210346097Abstract: Methods for determining likelihood of thrombosis based on patient-specific anatomic, valve, and flow parameters are disclosed herein. Such methods are used to select a transcatheter aortic valve that decreases likelihood of thrombosis after TAVR procedures. The methods correlate a number of fluid flow and geometric parameters such as stasis volume, neo-sinus volume, kinematic viscosity, dynamic viscosity, heart rate, the circulation, ejection time, velocity of the main jet, wall shear stress, total kinetic energy in the neo sinus volume, width of the neo-sinus, height or depth of the neo-sinus, the angle between the velocity direction and the stent of the transcatheter valve, the distance from the tip of the leaflet perpendicular to the leaflet edge and intersecting the sinotubular junction, and the cross-sectional area of the neo-sinus taken from a longitudinal or axial perspective. Such parameters are used to derive empirical or semi-empirical mathematical models to determine the likelihood of thrombosis.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 22, 2021Publication date: November 11, 2021Applicants: Ohio State Innovation Foundation, Georgia Tech Research CorporationInventors: Lakshmi Prasad Dasi, Amirsepehr Azimian, Hoda Hatoum, Shelly Singh-Gryzbon, Vinod Thourani, Ajit Yoganathan
