A number of red LED chips are arranged around the blue LED chip. The blue LED chip and red chips are covered with a packaging material with phosphor. The intensity of red light can be adjusted by a control circuit. Thus, the white LED lamps with high efficacy and high color rendering at different color temperatures can be achieved.
