Abstract: A device and a method for adjusting post-spacer height in production of liquid crystal displays (LCDs), and the device comprises a controller (11) and an extrusion panel (12), the controller (1) is configured to control the extrusion panel (12) to perform plastic deformation treatment; and the extrusion panel (12) is configured to perform plastic deformation treatment on post spacers on a substrate, of which a height is more than a predetermined height value, under the control of the controller (11) after a rubbing process and before a cell assembly process, so that the standard deviation of the post-spacer height on the substrate can fall in a range of the predetermined standard deviation required to be achieved by products. The device and the method can effectively improve the uniformity of the post-spacer height on the substrates.

Abstract: A monitoring server method includes the following steps. First, the baseboard management controller (BMC) receives the running status information of a system device transferred by the system management software. Then, the BMC determines whether or not the system device is operated in a normal state. When the system device is operated in an unusual state, the virtual sensor data record in the sensor data recorder is set in an abnormal state by the BMC. Then, the BMC generates an event according to the abnormal state to trigger a platform event filter (PEF) of the BMC to issue a warning signal to a remote management host.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for facilitating a routing request received in a wireless communication device of a wireless subscriber. The method comprises receiving a first string of data input by the wireless subscriber wherein the first string comprises a predetermined format recognizable by a communication application residing on the wireless communication device, and resolving the first string of data into a second string of data via the communication application, the second string of data comprising a predetermined format recognizable by a host system adapted to establish a wire-based communication between the wireless communication device and a destination communication device based on the second string of data.

Abstract: A method for routing wireless communications by a host system comprises receiving from a wireless communication device(CD) of a wireless subscriber(WS) a valid routing request data; authenticating WS's account information as valid subscriber account based on predetermined authentication criteria, and if account information is valid, receiving from wireless CD a destination telephone number(DTN) of a destination CD, resolving the valid routing request data to a predetermined wire-based medium; and establishing communication between subscriber's CD and destination CD via predetermined wire-based medium based on DTN.
